I hope there is encouraging news about your DH, today, dragonfly46. 💐
Good morning from a dark S E Essex
The Imp woke up at 6am and told us he was fully charged 😹
Not sure what is on the agenda today.
Happy Birthday Greyduster 🥂🎂🍾🎈
Good morning from a dry but windy Torbay.
I'm rather tired this morning after being at my exercise class yesterday morning and then having a session with our choreographer teaching us the Charleston last night for the Prom scene in It’s A Wonderful Life.
That school sounds idyllic in its setting, RosesandLilac! Lucky children and teachers!
Two hours sounds like a long time in Tesco, grandMattie! Presumably the parking time isn’t limited?
I hope DGS2 is healing well; I expect he’s enjoying solo time with you, Grandmabatty.
Birthday greetings to Greyduster and belated anniversary happiness to Jaxjacky. 🥂🍾💐
Have a good day, everyone! 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Happy Birthday Greyduster
Good morning from a dark East Midlands.
DH was moved back to the ward yesterday although things are still not going as they should.
He walked into the hospital 2 weeks ago and now he cannot stand!
On the up side both DS and DD are here. It is a long time since the 3 of us have spent time alone.
Wishing everyone a good day.
Good morning from a mild but damp Black Country.
Sore arm this morning, as I had my Covid jab yesterday afternoon. The walk in the morning kept dry and we covered over 5 miles.
Over to Mums today to take her food shopping.
Happy birthday to Greyduster

Wishing you all the best day possible.
greyduster a very happy birthday to you. Karma I thought that too, how inspirational she was. It was a really enjoyable film as well.
Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire. I see I’ve been outed! Thankyou Corner for your birthday wishes. I have a fun day planned - blood tests and a meds review this morning and school volunteering this afternoon😁. DD and SiL are calling round this evening for something to eat.
Have the best day you can, folks.
Yes grandmaBatty Sheila Hancock and she really did it and was 83, turning 84 when making the film. What an inspiration
Good morning from south Glos, it’s dampish here, too dark to see much else.
I had a lovely couple of hours at the school shed, planted tête à tête daffodils in posts for the children to shell on their produce stall and carried on with the seed sifting, it’s very slow going but mindful so I enjoyed the peace until playtime started!
The children really have a wonderful environment at out village school, a very big playground and grassed area with woodland that they can build dens in, a giant sandpit, climbing apparatus and far reaching views right across to the edge of Salisbury Plain, some 30+ miles away. They help look after the hens too. Very different than my school days.
I didn’t do much in the afternoon except sort out the materials for a new painting I started yesterday evening.
Today more painting after dog walks, looking forward to it.
I have 4 bags ready to put out for the charity collection, must label them.
Best wishes to everyone 🌹
Good morning from Malta where the day is forecast to be dry with a high of 22°C.
Today marks the 19th anniversary of my sister’s death from breast cancer aged 54. I can’t believe how long it is and I grieve for her and all she has missed out on. She has five lovely grandchildren who she didn’t get to meet.💔
I will take Milo out for his long walk again, hoping it’s not as hot as yesterday when I had dressed for cooler weather and was much too warm.
The family are having a lovely time in Sicily and will be travelling back late tonight. I have missed them.
Sorry I missed your anniversary Jax, glad to hear you had a good time celebrating.🥳
Hope the day goes well for you all.☀️
Morning Mick, morning All from a wet corner of Somerset.
An indoor pottering day today. A grocery delivery, some dust to remove, perhaps a drift out for coffee, no rush at anything which is the sort of day I enjoy.
A celebration meal sounds good jax. 🤞 for a working boiler soon and a safe parcel arrival karmalady
If my memory is working there are Happy Birthday wishes due to greyduster 🍷🎂🎈. Enjoy your day whatever it brings.
With thoughts to all facing personal mountains. Have the best day possible everyone.
Jaxjacky he seems to be sleeping ok.
Forgot to say, have a good day all.
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 11° and dry, although the ground is damp. Karma is that the film with Sheila Hancock? If so, I really enjoyed it too. GrandMattie 2 hours is a very long time to shop!
Yesterday I did a little in the school library. Then home to potter. I managed to clear a bit more in the dining room which pleased me. I had a long nap in the afternoon and felt better after that.
Today is a childcare day. I'll be having dgs2 all day because he's not returning to nursery until next week. So I'll only drop off dgs1 at school. I have to go a different route because of traffic lights in my village which caused horrendous tailbacks yesterday. Once home with dgs2 it'll be gentle playing and lentil soup for lunch. He is a big fan of grandma's soup. His other granddad is going to nip round to see him and bring his dog. He's the most well behaved dog I have ever seen. Then school pick up and back for an hour with both boys before I take them home. Pork chop for dinner later.
Morning from, I think a dry S Hants, im up this early to book my Tesco Christmas slot!
Thank you for anniversary good wishes yesterday, we pottered, out for dinner tonight.
I hope the lad is doing well and sleeping fine with the cast Grandmabatty
I’m hoping your plumber makes an appearance, with the part, very soon karmalady, whilst your comfortable, a working boiler would be better.
Have a reasonable day all.

Good morning Mick and grandMattie from a dark and damp north Wales - this week’s weather is soul destroying, and it’s only Tuesday!
Congrats 🥂 to Jaxes on their anniversary- hope the celebrations went well. How lovely you enjoyed your break so much Kalu, doing something out of the ordinary too!
💐 for your reminiscence Georgesgran x
Can’t stand a day indoors again so will brave the 💦 and hop on a bus to Conwy for a damp mooch around town before treating ourselves to coffee and 🍰 after a browse through the Library.
Hope your day is more exhilarating than mine…
Good morning from s somerset, a dreary wet day today
The gansey is posted and I have my fingers crossed that it gets safely to ds, having had one large expensive parcel disappear [stolen} via dpd, enroute when tracking stopped at the Birmingham hub. That one contained items I was handing on from my late husband. Between us we managed to draw the line across but it was a devastating (and expensive) loss so we will be anxious until the gansey arrives
I watched an amazing, inspiring and beautiful film last evening, on youtube and called Edie. It was so good that I never knitted a stitch.
I had the stove on and tested a different fuel, I only had enough for three days, it was rubbish fuel and I am glad I did not buy any more. I could not get the heat up to optimum and it badly blackened the glass, the fire only came to life after putting a dry log on and that did clean the glass.
Limbo for me at the moment and I am anxiously waiting to hear that my plumber is coming back to fix my boiler. He is keen to fix it but getting the correct part is a problem. He will not let me down but I don`t trust ariston
Have a good day
Good morning from Bristol. The wet season has started…. It’s going to be very odd with no temperature variation from last night to tomorrow morning.
I had a nice surprise yesterday, when my neighbour’s friend paid me for the baby quilt I made for her great-great grandson, as yet unborn!
Tesco shop went reasonably quickly as my neighbour’s friend paid has had a nasty cold and didn’t want to be too generous with her germs, but it still took nearly 2 hours, ye gods…
The afternoon started with a very long nap, which left me a bit discombobulated when I woke up. I started to assemble the other baby quilt I’m making.
Another quiet day. I’ve got some notes from our temporary manager to post round the estate. I volunteered.
A prayer meeting this afternoon.
May today bring quiet happiness and relief to those in any sort of need.
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦤
Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start here in Brackley at the moment .
The usual routine for me with the bus trip to Bicester to shop and chat to those who know me.
Health OK ,
Take Care,
Mick
