Casdon

Excuse me while I choke on my coffee ronib.

You haven’t exactly seemed too bothered about all the inaccuracies and bias shown by the BBC tho have you?
Also why do a snippy comment about revealing posters politics?
I don’t think the BBC should be defunded unless sloppy and downright biased and deceptive practices continue.Things will have to change.

Yes.

Yes it should

Absolutely not. If that video was doctored the BBC made a serious error, but that isn't enough, in my view, to defund the service. Two senior people have resigned.

Yes this latest debacle is one in a very long line.
The recent one that made me spit feathers was them “reporting” a Scottish story that was lifted from a Tory speech ….not biased?
Or only interesested in pleasing the unionists?
They have lost tens of thousands of license fees here because of these “mistakes” that aren’t mistakes at all
If you pay their fee surely you should get accurate reporting not bias

A resounding yes !

Maremia Mon 10-Nov-25 09:21:03

Nope

Sago Mon 10-Nov-25 09:20:15

The government is committed to upholding the licence fee until the current Charter period ends on December 31, 2027.

After this should the BBC be defunded?
