Good morning from a very wet Bristol. I’ll scrounge a lift into Spanish today, it’s too wet to do my usual 30 minute walk…
I had a rather worrying time yesterday. When paying for the taichi, I noticed that my wallet was missing. Not too bothered as I thought I may have put it in another coat pocket yesterday.
When I got home, I searched every coat, every bag, etc. No wallet. Apart from a rather large sum of money, my building society card as it it, far more worrying.
I went early into the neighbouring village where I had shopped the day before, so as to make sure the building society was open, should I not have left it in a shop.
The first shop I went into had the wallet. I was so relieved!
I didn’t really have time to go home and walk back to the village for the bus, so I caught an earlier bus to DD’s, knowing I’d be too early for them. I sat in the house for about an hour before people became free.
DD has booked tickets for Iris’ school play next Saturday, “a midsummer night’s dream”, she is a fairy and behind the scenes helper.
Spanish today. I decided I would steal back my great grandfather’s Amati violin, which went awol when he died! 😂
I hope today heralds a good weekend for all, especially the mountaineers.
