Ive had shingles twice. Both times not anywhere as bad as some people get it but it knocked me for six, so goodness knows what a really bad bout feels like.

Hope you get on ok on Tuesday

I felt the same anxiety as yourself when offered the jab but seeing my son with Shingles and very poorly gave me the push I needed.
No after effect what so ever felt a great relief 😌

Both had it with no ill effects at all. And as someone who has seen shingles many times..please please have it. Shingles is a nightmare. Protect yourself

I’ve had the vaccine, no problem at all.

I did once have shingles, thankfully not too badly, but believe me, you’d rather have the jab!

My friend has had the jab and had no side effects. My mum had shingles and was very ill so worth having it done.

Both I and my late DH had the shingles jab when offered at age 70. Neither of us had any ill effects, He had lymphoma at that time, but his Consultant recommended he should have it.

Hello on this dark and very wet day! I'm quite new here fo forgive me if I haven't put this in the correct place.
I am having my first shingles jab in Tuesday. I'm normally fine with all the usual vaccines ,but for some breakfast unexplained reason I am in a bit of a stew about this one.
Have any of you had it,and if so how did you feel afterwards?
Thanks in advance .
