Sorry Ilovedogs but I did have to laugh at your post.
Just read this and giggled, too, just before going to sleep. Sorry, Ilovedogs, but your name makes it amusing!
Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry outside despite ground being wet here in Brackley .
Usual routine bus trip to Bicester and speak to those I know.
Had blood test again yesterday , but cold air caused aa slight delay as i had to warm my arms up
Health OK,

Good morning to everyone from the sullen, grey west midlands.
A fabulous start to the day, a dollop of poo fell-out of the old dog's bottom; unbeknown to moi! So course I trod in it. So the day is going swimmingly & according to plan.
I wish you all the best day possible but very importantly Grans.....
mind the flipping poo!
Me too re MaryDoll 🙏🏽
Just popped in to see if MaryDoll had posted, I do hope she is ok 🌸
Good morning from a damp northwest coast.
I tried to print off Xmas cards yesterday from a painting I did. My printer drives me crazy! Gave up in the end as it was not doing my blood pressure any good. I’ll go into town and have them done🙄
We thankfully had a better rehearsal last night. Just as well as it was the last one. I had the wrong contact lenses in for driving which I need to watch. A jolly drink with everyone after the rehearsal made it a late night.
It’s my BILs diamond wedding today and I’ve sent flowers and a pop up card. Didn’t make my usual painted card as was full of cold. I didn’t make 60 years with my own DH😢 I can’t make the party in the south at the weekend as I have the concert, but my DD is going.
Thoughts to dragonfly and good to hear about FGT and LLFL.🌺
Good morning from a warmer W Kent. It feels like a big hug all round is needed this morning for good and not so good news.
Off to last art until February. A long gap I always think, the group is quite old in years and not everyone is busy.
Best wishes all round
I have to re-register every time I come on here which is hugely frustrating. Did however want to say how glad I am that Mr FGT is home and that LLFL has survived her unpleasant procedure.
Grey and much warmer this morning. I have the U3A book group this morning discussing Christabel Beilenberg’s wonderful war time memoir “The Past is Myself”. Thoroughly recommended both for throwing a German perspective on that time and for being beautifully written.
Ferocious rheumatics in my right wrist made sleeping difficult but am now dosed with pain killers so should be able to make coffee for the group though I won’t be carrying a tray of cups and saucers.
Good morning and it’s milder here in Essex.
Yesterday I mistook the time for concert rehearsal and arrived as the Chimers were almost finishing. I felt so bad as there are only 8 of us and one missing is very disruptive. I’m never late and always check times but I have a lot in my mind at the moment (one way or another). Still, no excuse!
Today I have a hair appointment and then up to the Bank to transfer more money. That’s all I seem to do these days.
Lovely DIL is coming to help me with some admin. I’m not used to this as Dh always dealt with it all and now he hasn’t the concentration or motivation to help me.
Sorry to hear your dh isn’t recovering well Dragonfly . 🙏🫂.
Pleased to hear your news FGT. .
Lovely pic of your dogs Roses. They aren’t how I imagined them. I thought big dog would be a retriever and tiddler would be a jack Russell. 😂.
I hope you all have a ‘good’ day.
Sending you a hug Dragonfly

Glad you have family nearby.

Good morning from Shropshire.Dry at the moment but showers forecast throughout the day.
Yesterday went reasonably well although the dr forgot to tell me something important and then texted me mid afternoon.I phoned the surgery and the receptionist agreed I should speak to a dr, the next available appointment is 12th December🤷♀️
Today we are going to see mum.We had a hilarious FaceTime with her yesterday.Several of the other residents wanted to get involved so chaos reigned! It is a hundred mile round trip and sometimes we aren’t there long so will go for lunch out on the way and possibly a walk if the weather is kind.
So glad to hear FGT and LLFL’s good news.
Sorry to hear so many in pain and wishing you all a better day.
Beautiful dogs Roses.
Wishing everyone the best day possible🌻🦩
Good morning all from a dull Black country where we have had overnight rain.
Slept again for over 7hrs the only thing different that I have done is have horlicks instead of tea for my last drink of the day.
Toddlers was very busy again but they are all well behaved and some even help with tidying up the toys.
Shopping today and I still have vouchers so we will be eating out again, could get used to no cooking.
Great to hear himself is home, and good news for Llfl.
Have the best day you can everyone whatever your plans and may you all find a little bit of ☀️.
dragonfly
and a hug.
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 13° and damp. A very mild day ahead for us. Dragonfly 💐.
Yesterday went as planned. My hair was cut and shaped. I have little hair and my hairdresser is making the best of what is left. Then a visit to the school library to process new books. The pharmacy didn't have my prescription ready but I went back later for it. A quick trip to Aldi for bread and then the delivery from Next arrived. I bought scandi inspired duvet cover and pillowcases which match my decor and I'm very happy with them. I've ordered Christmas wine too. I rarely drink these days but I like to have a stock to hand for gifts. It should arrive soon.
Unfortunately last night was a really bad night for pain. Kalu I sympathise with you. I slept in fits and starts. Today I have no plans. The kitchen will be tidied for certain. I must cook mince or it'll go off. And that's the extent of my work so far. Have a good day all
Good morning from Ruislip where we are staying with friends for a few days. Today we are off to the Olympic Oark for a wander around and then dip into Stratfield Westfield shops.
FGT’s 🥰
Thinking of all those whose life is difficult and wishing everyone the best day possible. Lovely pics being posted today
Morning from a dull, but warmer S Hants after yesterday’s frost.
Yesterday was out to the shops and then book club in the afternoon, new book is an Iris Murdoch.
Phone calls to make today then early evening my daughter and I are off to buy our Christmas Tree, 20% off the fresh ones until Sunday.
I saw that’s out BlueSapphire one of the Knives Out series, we love them.
Great news llfl and the best for you both FGT
🦩🦩

Good morning everyone from a damp Northampton, a lot milder today. My feet froze on the bus into town yesterday! Got most of the things on my list plus some more.
A very early Sainsbury's delivery this morning then a mid-morning brunch and I am off to town again, this time to the cinema, to see the new Daniel Craig black comedy detective film; it's the third in the series. 'Wake up Dead Man' is the title.
A strange thing yesterday: vacuumed the utility room floor and lifted the back door mat to give it a shake outside, to find the floor sopping wet underneath; the top of the mat was bone dry, so I have no idea where the water had come from. Mopped the floor and stuffed the mat into the washing machine. A mystery...
So glad to read FGT2's news, long may it continue.
Wishing all a pleasant day.
Good morning all from the English Midlands where it's mild 11°C with a small chance of rain.
It's the 5th anniversary of DH death so I'm glad to be staying with my DS.
They are working so I'll get the bus into town and look around.
Yesterday my DS took me on a nice bracing walk around Clumber Park with the dog. It wasn't busy because rain had been forecast but it was sunny. The Chapel was decorated with knitted poppies and the walled garden still producing marrows and fruit.
Love the dogs Llfl and relief for you.
I'm pleased to hear better news from FGTs
Hope everyone has some joy today.
