Been following this 3i/Atlas comet thing for a few weeks now and listening to Prof Brian Cox on YouTube.

He reckons if it is a comet it defies all the laws of energy and quantum physicswe know about.

I love it and really hope it is a close encounter of the third kind. As long as they have not come to completely destroy the planet.

We are doing a pretty job of that ourselves without any other help.

As for NASA. They do know what is going on but they seem to very quiet. Suspiciously so?

As for Aliens being amongst most definitely including all politicians.

Oh Cariad you really shouldn't believe everything you read.

I've read about the Annunaki and think the balance of probabilities goes "They did come invading/settling on our planet" - but the tales told about them are they exploited us for their benefit (ie our gold as I recall).

I don't know quite what to think re whether there may/may not be many/if any aliens living amongst us. It would certainly be an explanation as to why people are at such obviously different levels.

I can certainly think of large groups of people on Earth where I wonder whether they are actually "human" - as they just don't seem to function normally mentally (thinks "How many wars are being fought over in an area of the Middle East at the moment - and most of them in that area seem to agree with it?"). I do honestly wonder where some obviously "lower level" people come from and know part of it will be their society indoctrinates them whilst they're still at school and then shoves them into their army compulsorily for a certain length of time thereafter - and some of them come out normal and won't take part in all that landgrabbing/genocide/etc - but many others have swallowed that indoctrination hook, line and sinker and they do. Just what is the explanation for some being normal/human/don't go in for crime or genocide or anything - whereas others (sometimes quite large groups) do go in for things like wars/genocide/stealing other nations resources/etc).

Then there's those individuals in any society (including our own) who think it's okay to lie and/or bully and/or steal and I encounter them/normal people encounter them frequently. I'd say I encounter some of these lower-level people every single day without fail. I guess I could stay at home/not switch on my computer and hopefully I could spend an entire day not encountering any of them in any way. I do wonder where these lower-level people come from so to say - why are they that way?/could "alien" be one possible reason to explain some people being like that? It's one possibility as to why some people are that way - ie they're not quite "people"....

We know it's a comet, as I pointed out it will be 170 million miles away when it passes so why be rational?

If we can't have some fun, it's a sad day on GN.

Will you all promise that when this turns out to be a big old nothingberg that you'll maybe be a little more rational with posts.

Sorry I carn't agree Keepingquiet. We are a very new planet and species. There could be other life much much older than ours that knows how to travel that fast. After all people once said you could not travel faster than walking or you would not be able to breath. They say life has to have oxygen and water, but only life as we know it.

They're not a separate species.
We are they.

I believe in the Ancient Alien theory. There are many books you can find online to explore this theory! If the Annunaki are watching us they will come back when we have become too arrogant with all the wars that continually happen & arguments between countries threatening nuclear war! I am just sorry that I do not have enough years left to see how they will stop our stupidity! They do still live among us. A way to ‘keep an eye’ on us! Laugh & sneer all you like I have thought this way for the last 60-70 years & being 81 now will not change my mind!

We're judging by our primitive technology and that's a fundamental mistake.

After all - imagine someone on Earth trying to deal with, say, a medical matter with the "technology" of the time 200 years ago - ie no general anaesthetics/no belief in cleanliness/etc !!!!

Ditto - someone 200 years back being told one could transport from one end of the country to the other in a matter of hours (ie by plane) - when all they had was horse and cart and "knew" it took days.

It's the eyes - I tell ya it's the eyes.

Not sure I'm joking sometimes - as I do study peoples eyes and "update" looks at them at intervals - after I had the very unnerving experience of seeing what I thought was a friend at the time (he's been binned since - because I discovered he was a thief and planning on having a large "steal" from me!!!!!) first thing of a morning - and his eyes had changed.

One of his eyes still looked normal - but the other one had turned absolutely completely black (totally not a normal eye by any stretch of the imagination). Cue for he denied it - when I asked why that had happened and was rubbishing what I had seen very clearly. Half an hour later and that eye was back to normal. That put the wind right up me as to why that had happened and he was denying it had.

It put the wind up me even more when I read a couple of articles subsequently that there are people who have normal eyes and then they change occasionally (both eyes at once in their case) and then they give the crime record of these people - ie they act normal sometimes but are evil and have just committed some awful crime (is psychopath the word I'm searching for here???).

I tell ya that unnerved me - though I didnt bin him until I realised he was after the info on my computer hard drive - and he was history two minutes later....

With you on some politicians and look into their eyes in photos etc too and sometimes really don't like what I see there and I have looked into the eyes of that London mayor and thought "Hmmmm....".

I think you may have been confusing the tv series Supernatural with life on Earth? Or at least life in Wales? Those with black eyes in the series are demons.🙃

I've learnt to think "Maybe/maybe not" and to be aware that, for instance, I want people who say they are complementary health practitioners to have things like fixed premises/business cards/etc - in case they turn out to be "Hippy living in the woods/head in the clouds" and you wonder why they've not turned up for their home appointment with you. Yep...we do have a noticeable number living in the woods....

Though I've certainly read factual articles in the mainstream of people whose eyes normally look normal - but once in a bluemoon change to black (both eyes in their case) and the photos were there for comparison (before and after eye colour change) - and then they've been known to commit murder (ie because they are a psychopath).

I read that this is an interstellar comet - not one bound by the solar system. It has come from outer space so it is particularly interesting, and it is a comet which behaves a little differently from Solar system comets because it comes from somewhere different.

Ooo! That would make a fun thread. Who do you reckon is an alien being living amongst us? Don't know why my mind keeps thinking of Trump!

All of this discussion about extraterrestrial life reminds me of a friend of ours who attended the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, New Mexico. (Yes, THAT Roswell.) He said that when people ask NMMI people about Roswell and the UFO that crashed, the standard response is, "You know, I hate that. People always ask about the one that crashed. They never ask about the one that completed our - I mean ITS - mission." The other NMMI joke is that when you graduate from there, you're replaced with an alien replica who is programmed with all of your memories, appearance, etc. It's so good even your family members and friends don't notice the difference

We wouldnt know for instance that a huge capital city is in the process of being evacuated currently - Iran's capital city of 10 million people if we only saw the mainstream media

Comets are a natural phenomenon - not a civilisation!

The evidence is up there on YouTube by scientists (not yer average person in the street making it up). Analysing its trajectory, its changing appearance, etc and then comparing to comets and it's nothing like.

I reject the wackier videos up there - because it's just "yer ordinary person in the street" and non-scientifically minded and disagreeing with each other. But the ones by scientists are all saying much the same thing/much the same photos as each other.
