I remember going to see his play "The Real Inspector Hound" way back in the 60s. I think Ronnie Barker was in it.

I have very happy memories of going to see his plays. He explored ideas in such a witty way.

I remember seeing the opening run of Rozencrantz and Guildenstern are dead at The National. It was a pre O level school trip. I was totally entranced it’s always stayed with me.
