You Wouldn't Believe What I Did Tonight

I lost control of the roasting tin as I hauled the massive cooked turkey out of the oven, and turkey fat slopped over the kitchen floor, turning the path to the Christmas table into a skating rink just as people were heading there. All our guests had to clutch the worktops and edge round it. Then the cat stepped in and slid gracefully from one end to the other.

We’ve had a turkey crown ever since.

I spent ages decorating a huge Christmas tree using my large collection of glass baubles, tinsel, lights, fairy on top etc.

Enter George, a small black kitten, who had been successfully kept at bay while the decorating took place. He took one look at the tree, jumped up into it and started to climb. He was nearly at the top when the whole thing came crashing down.

Those would've been great on toast Esmay....lol

Tasked with stirring real egg nog on the cooker I overheated the mixture and created alcohol flavoured scrambled eggs .
