Poteen is almost ready Doodle and I've found some of Lemongrove's recipes for cocktails. The one I'm serving tonight is vodka, crushed mint leaves and a drop of bleach.

As Aga is still busy brewing the next batch of Poteen, I’ve put the sprouts on to cook. . With a bit of luck they should be done by Christmas.

Is there a piano? DS has been playing for a lot of events and parties lately and he says he can play most requests for songs from the 1920’s onwards if they can be played on piano. (He brings up chords and words on the iPad).

I'll bring some lovely N.Z. South Island oysters, a leg of N.Z. lamb, a pavlova (which N.Z. invented. Australia thinks they did haha) and some nice cherries. Although how I get these through customs might prove difficult). I'll have to go back to work though to get enough money to pay for this lot! Worth it though.

I have shall bring some Cassis and Prosecco for poor man and woman’s Kir Royale. Also some of the mushroom tartlets from Sainsbury’s that I am hooked on.

Don’t want to put you off but there’s an awful lot of cleaning up needed after the llamas - had to get the fire brigade in last year
