Then I may bring my most extravagent mince pies with pastry made with butter and orange juice and the mince put in with a dollop of philly cheese mixed with sugar on top and then pastry on top of that. I am quite a pastry queen, so could make some good flaky pastry and serve up hot sausage rolls too

Are you Josceline Dimbleby by any chance? Or did you just borrow her mince pie recipe?

I’ll bring a Pav for dessert. With lots of raspberries and blueberries because they are in season. Maybe a couple of big ripe mangos and a bottle of sav blanc to wash it all down. Nip over here , bring your bathers and have a swim, it is usually a hot day here.

Black Forest trifle - chocolate sponge (I made Devils Food cake ), soaked with cherry conserve, and amaretto, or sherry, then topped with defrosted black or tinned cherries. Leave overnight then cover with a layer of pink jelly fluff, then whipped cream, with crushed chocolate flake or grated chocolate of your choice sprinkled over.

Sorry Aga didn’t mean any disrespect to the poteen. In fact I’ve missed the odd jug or two. When can we expect it to be brewed to perfection?
Weil I might have know May Hem would turn up again. Best we don’t let the Admiral see her. You know what happened last time those two got together. I’ve just been down Piggstrotter Alley to Madam PomPoms to acquire suitable garments for our Christmas party. I’ve found a lovely gold sequinned dress. Silly Madame P told me it was a boob tube but it fits fine as long as I don’t move.

CaroleAnne we don’t have any teetotallers in the Argy. The fumes alone would knock them out before they got over the threshold.

May Hem and Kay Oss are the two hefty girl bouncers. No messing with them and they love Fairy tale of New York.
I've brought ear protectors for those who don't like it.

Where’s our chucker out? There he is! Look over there, two troublesome individuals you need to eject knspol who’s wearing a tutu and bovver boots and Kittylester wearing a WW2 flying jacket over a red ballgown, they keep putting Fairytale Of NY on the jukebox……we can’t take it anymore!!

This will be my first time at the party - sounds wild! I will bring homemade mince pies - mincemeat made with a Mary Berry recipe and pastry made with butter. I will wear a black sparkly very long sweater (DH says it is a dress) which I bought half price today in Asda and is size 12-14. No wonder it was reduced - it fits me and I am several sizes larger than that. Secret Santa - one of many things recently won in raffles.

I will be bringing the Bucks Fizz for the teatotallers and a wonderful punch laced with gin.
Smoked salmon bagels go well with the above to soak up the alcohol. Can't wait.

There are some freshly baked mushroom pasties on the bar. I think they were mushrooms. They were growing in the llamas pen in the yard.

Watch out the Admiral is on the prowl and the llamas are in a mood for biting bottoms. This won't end well.

Where’s the nosh, am getting peckish with watching all the fights, does the chef do fish finger sarnies here?
