Merry Christmas all. What a day it’s been. Tinsel and baubles everywhere. Alarma drank a whole bowl of punch and decided to lavish her affections on the Admiral who wasn’t adverse to the idea. However May Hem thought he was hers and was bashing everything in sight with her stilettos.

The karaoke is on low volume. Soft lighting and blankets await all who want to rest for a while before we do the conga.

I saw the lights on and nipped home to fetch some Cinnamon Knots, but I see we’re quite well off for those….oh well, always room for another box. I see the llamas are up to their old tricks, what a mess this place is. Why do we bring them every year - will we never learn?
I’m determined to dance tonight, so don’t try and stop me, and keep Alarma out of my way. She goes for me the minute I take to the floor. I have my eye on the Admiral. He’s past his best but he’s still a good mover, rum or no rum.

Cider, yup.
I found the apples well masticated and so easy to create the silky smooth texture I am told (not being a drinker myself 🤭) that cider demands.
But we do have the cloudiness which promotes that je ne sais quoi.

Had a letter this morning saying that I had been accepted for City and Guilds Food Hygiene, Basic level.
They hinted that the Argy Bar could do with some welcome input.

Poor Alarms looks very sad with half of her (rather manky) hair shaved off but as neither warm soapy water nor the acetone managed to unglue her from the tv set there was no alternative.

Alarma spent yesterday evening glued to Strictly on the box.

I have a nasty feeling she is practicing her moves and eying up potential outfits🫣
