Yesterday and today ai have had such a runny nose and much sneezing. So far I feel Ok. But am staying indoors and see how I feel tomorrow.

I have just had a plate of cooked mince with onions and carrots, mashed potato, mashed sweet potato with plenty of butter and salt and pepper, gravy. And then a Waitrose mince pie with a crumble topping...warmed.. and custard. Now a cup of good caffeinated coffee. That should see it off!!

But the ending of the saying is, 'If you want to have to starve a fever.'
Get well soon.

My go to recipe for a cold is a hot spicy curry .
Even a ready made will help .
I had a Jalfezi last week and it cleared the excessive mucous within 20 minutes . My eyes watered ,I blew my nose a lot and coughed -it wasn't pleasant neither was it a pretty sight ,but I was well enough to go out .
I sometimes make a curried soup .
I really believe that chicken stock ,onions ,garlic ,ginger and chilli will kill a cold .

Otherwise a freshly made Jewish chicken soup is recommended if you can't stand spices .

Esmay. Curried soup sounds good. Will give that a go tomorrow. Lemon and honey tonight. I can't believe how much I have sneezed and blown my nose. Non stop.

I hope thats the only symptom. No fever...so far. No aches nor sore throat. Fingers crossed its just a head cold.
