I just want more of the same next year, please.

I have pre-ordered my summer plants - Tidal wave Petunia, Osteospermum, Fuschia, also late Tulip bulbs as recommended by Monty. I look forward to spring and summer in the garden.

I just want some light evenings so I do not feel so trapped. Can't wait to be able to go out to everything in the evenings without having to steel myself.

I live in the middle of nowhere with no street (well lane really!) lighting and it is black as pitch.

I sort of don't want to think what 2026 might hold. I suppose I'll just have to go with the flow as usual and hope for the best but, as usual, will expect the worst. I'm very good at worrying.

We too had ups and downs in 2025. I don't like odd numbers so always feel more positive when the year is even. Mind you 2020 was even and look how that turned out. I HATE January so much I can barely function until the 1st February. Every day is torture and drags on. January feels longer than all the other months together.

Ups and downs through this year as always.

I guess next year will be similar, though we have some landmarks coming along - DGS1 has GCSEs in the summer and DGD2 will start school in September.

I always start the new year with optimism and am fortunate that things generally turn out ok in the end, if not quite how I envisaged them!
My wish for 2026 is for peace, both globally and for each individual. I hope it brings more ups than downs for all of us, and the strength to deal with both.

We had a good but busy and at times stressful 2025.
We moved house but it all seems a distant memory now!

I hope 2026 brings us continued health.

Like Grandmabatty 2025 had some lows for me.

I was critically ill in the summer due to a misdiagnosis by GP.My niece took her own life and two people close to us died.At the moment my mum is unwell and we are unable to visit due to a flu outbreak in the care home.

On the plus side I have my husband and lovely family and my health is improving.

For 2025 I wish for continued improvement in my health and that of all who I know who are struggling and for happiness for our family and friends, well for everyone really.Peace on earth would be good too🙏🏻

Three months into doing up our project house. I hope that Spring will bring planning permission for a relocated kitchen, and Autumn for changing the location of our off road parking and that we go into next Chirstmas, with a house in order with curtains and decorated.

2025 wasn't a great year for me in some respects but good in others. Mum died and I had a fight with a train and a platform leading to damage to my leg. However I had cataract surgery and can see so much better. My son got back in touch with us and is coming for Christmas and I continue to have good friends and family.
I'm hoping for better health for me and happiness for my family. I wish for peace in the world.
