Wonderful , technically brilliant and highly imaginative skaters and an overdue award .

I was in hospital with concussion following a crash. I can't tell you how Bolero brings back memories of that busy ward with the TV on at 6am and Bolero seeming to be on all day as I vomitted and struggled with the worst headache of my life. Shame so many have happy memories of it and it gives me PTSD.

About time too. I wonder who woke up? That will be the icing on their cake. I watched ITV last night and loved it, not understanding why there was barely a mention, considering the number of repeats we have had.

How absolutely brilliant. I'm so pleased for them.

I wonder why it took so long?

I saw them at Wembley in 1994, newly pregnant suffering from hyperemesis. They performed Bolero, but I was too ill to appreciate it, counting the minutes until I could get out!

They're on tonight at 8.30 ITV, Torvill and Dean, The Last Dance.

I’m just so pleased to know that the two finest skaters of all time are finally to be given the titles that they so richly deserve. Great start to the New Year!

A thing of beauty - hopefully will be on TV again when they receive the titles.

Why has it taken so long! I can still remember staying up late to watch them perform Bolero ( I was babysitting at the time as I always babysat for people that took part in the village panto…)

Well better late than never!
Oh that iconic dance to Bolero! Who could ever forget it?
