Wishing you all a good New Year’s Eve.
I’ll come back, later I’m off to have my roots done for 2026 😂.

Another 'lurker'. Wishing everyone a 'Guid New Year' and wishing all health and happiness for 2026.

Hello and welcome to our new good morning friends 👋👋👋

RosesandLilac Wed 31-Dec-25 11:33:00

I’m just like you Usedtobeblonde, it’s part of my first thing routine. Definitely discombobulated this morning 😊

RosesandLilac Wed 31-Dec-25 11:31:22

Good morning! Thank goodness all’s well for the Good Morning thread 🤗, I did miss posting first thing.
We had a lovely dog walk as the sun rose, very frosty and absolutely perfect. I have cleaned through, put the washing on and lit the wood burner, it’s barely above freezing here today.
There’s gammon and jacket potato for dinner, I will have salad with mine I think. An afternoon of doing some watercolour painting I think, I have done A, B and C of my illuminated letters, rather chuffed with how they’ve turned out. Only another 23 to go!
I hope you all have a lovely New Year’s Eve 🌹

A late good morning 👋

The cleaning fairies have been, the house is shiny, decorations are still up, I love the lights and the smell of real Christmas trees 🎄

We have The Imp for a couple of hours this evening whilst DD pops out, not sure I will be up to see in the New Year.

I wish you all happiness, good health, prosperity and hope that 2026 is kind and gentle for us all 🙋‍♀️

Wishing all the best 2026. I have been reading these morning threads for a short while recently so I will attempt my New Year's resolution of actually contributing. DGC are staying with us today so DH and I are exhausted. It's a lot different looking after little ones now, 30 years later, compared to when I was 30, mainly struggling to get up off the floor holding a baby. But it's a real joy some of the things the older one - at two years old - says. He's started calling the dog 'darling' for one thing.

Phew normality has resumed- like UTBB I like the routine of reading about all your doings- not that I post on here much, but it’s v comforting and a bit of normality even in these strange times.
Will pop back later to see if others have joined in. x

Good morning all.
I think many of us would be discombobulated by not being able to connect this morning.
One of my first actions every morning is to log on to GN and when it’s “not there” I feel rather lost, however better late than never so I hope the morning is a good one for us all.

Good morning from a Sunnyside sandhills northwest coast.
I’m usually a late poster, but tried earlier to no avail.

I’m enjoying my hearty soup made from the turkey carcass. The pan is so large I’m keeping it in the car in the garage.
Quiet days at the moment, a bit of artwork etc.
I might have a walk in the dunes at the bottom of the road soon.
All the best for 2026🌺

Glad to see every one - I thought you were all ignoring me.

It is perishing here and that looks to be the picture for a few days.

I have an eye jab this afternoon so that means a quiet NYE for us.

Have the best day possibke everyone.

Good Morning Everyone,
I did try several attempts earlier to get on,mind slight change in the way I would used as a heading.
Been to Bicester and pack said a few hellos etc to those people I know.
Health OK
As to being unable to get on I did two things , 1 , I went on to the Gransnet Facebook page mentioning it and the 2nd option I sent an email to Gransnet and copied and pasted the page I had with the error on it .
Take Care,
Mick

Morning from a foggy, cold S Hants. Friend visiting later, in tonight, the best 2026 to you all x

BladeAnnie Wed 31-Dec-25 11:16:57

Happy New Year everyone - here's to a good 2026 for us all ❤️. I'm a bit of a lurker rather than a regular poster!

Good morning Pantglas2, I have never posted on this thread, but have read it every morning for a good few years. We will be seeing the new year in at our static caravan in your neck of the woods in North Wales (although we live in the Midlands). We often drive through your namesake village of Pantglas, which always brings your name to mind 🙂.
Hope you and everyone on this lovely thread have a good as possible 2026 🥂

Ladyleftfieldlover Wed 31-Dec-25 11:10:53

Morning all from a freezing West Oxfordshire.

We are taking our granddaughter out for lunch in our nearby town. Her parents will collect her late afternoon.

I have a cold now, as well as conjunctivitis, which isn’t clearing as quickly as I’d hoped.

Have a good day. OH and I will be staying in tonight. I have booked lunch at a favourite restaurant tomorrow.

Greendress Wed 31-Dec-25 11:09:21

Happy New Year to everyone x

Pantglas2 Wed 31-Dec-25 11:07:02

👋 late greeting as I suspect Mick has trotted off as GN was down until now!

Hope you’re all ready to wave goodbye to whatever 2025 brought and looking forward to good news in all departments for the next year 🥂

Best wishes to everyone on this lovely thread x
