HelterSkelter I expect Agent Million to visit me every month, still waiting, however £50 would be very welcome.

Very good to see you back Marzipan22!

Good morning from a mild south Cornwall. Oh, how I envy those with proper snow! I had an unexpected visitor yesterday - a robin who I've been feeding for a few weeks. I left my garden door open and he wandered in, even though there was food outside for him.

Today is Lego-wrangling at a library 12 miles away with a friend who, like me, looks on the library as his second home. Well, third for me, as Wetherspoons across the road from my flat is my second home. (For coffee, not booze, before anyone assumes. 😋) The friend and I dissemble last week's Lego club creations in time for their usual Saturday meet-up. We sit among mothers and toddlers (interestingly, no dads) as they gather for a weekly singing club. It's a wonderful community library.

Then home to take down my Christmas decorations and thereby thankfully declutter my work room. I have two complicated sewing projects which I can't resume until the decorations are put away.

The moonlight is pouring in through my town centre window. Later the blue and white twinkling lights will come on, threaded through the town and outside my window by our lovely town council. They replaced the summer bunting and add much cheer to the view from my window.

(I was Mizuna by the way but have taken time out of Gransnet during a long period of recovery after an operation. Am now well again but with a new name, of course.)

Good morning all from a cold clear N Surrey. No snow just cold. It felt like a Saturday all day yesterday. Every day has been a surprise. This time just after Christmas is always confusing.

I woke at 1.00 and thought I would spend half an hour doing Wordle but solved it in about 3 minutes. Then thought I would check the Premium Bonds and was disappointrd as it's not until tomorrow. Of course because of the Bank Holiday. But that's a Saturday. However it said results on 3 Jan. I am hoping for a Very Big Win.
Too warm in bed to venture down to the cold kitchen yet. So I shall read now for a while. Today I will take the cards down, but leave the sparkly white lights up for January possibly February too.

Good morning all
I have been awake for a couple of hours and have just fetched a cup of tea up.
We also have snow, just a coating , it was snowing at 3:30 but very clear now.
I expect it will be gone by morning .

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a chilly South Yorkshire. That’s two reports of snow I’ve read this morning Mick. Go careful if you’re going out today.
I have been awake since the crack of doom, having knocked over a glass of water at about twenty past one and having cleaned that up, my head was then full of the sort of rubbish that renders sleep impossible.
Yesterday’s lunch with DD and the menfolk was lovely. Lamb studded with garlic and rosemary followed by the Christmas pudding we didn’t eat at Christmas. GS was still nursing a New Year’s Eve hangover so didn’t want his usual plateful but before they went home he’d managed another cut at the joint and reheated some left over roasties in the air fryer🙄. We played games until they went home.
Today I will start dismantling the Christmas tree and taking down the other decorations. Why do I keep thinking we’ve just had the weekend when it’s still to come?
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning Mick, morning all from frosty South Lanarkshire.

DS and his family stayed over last night so I reckon I’ve got an hour before the children start to wake up, I’m savouring the calm stillness of the house.

Today I have no plans whatsoever, I may find a film to watch and get started on another little crochet blanket.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Good morning from an icy Bristol.
My tea went well, seven of the residents came and seemed to enjoy themselves. It would have been hard to fit more people although I have enough chairs. One apologised for being late, I laughed and said that in fact she was 30 minutes early!
Dinner at DD’s was very pleasant too. DGD1 was at her friend’s. At 15, she has a busy social life and hadn’t seen them at all during the holiday. She told her mother (to her amusement) that she would qualify for a driving licence “next year”!
We had a pleasant couple of hours although Iris was grumpy because she was too tired; they had stayed up at the other gp’s house to see the new year in.
Today is empty, just the usual stuff - cleaning , washing etc.
May everyone have a quiet day, with no sadness or pain. Hugs to all especially the fgts and md.

Good Morning Everyone from Midlands, very pretty looking outside at everything covered with snow, there is a trail of fox footprints across the lawn.
I will go a walk later on unless the snow gets much deeper.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and cold outside with a light covering of snow on the ground here in Brackley this morning.
Hopefully plan to do my usual routine with a bus trip to Bicester and see people I know etc.
Health OK,
Take Care,
Mick
