Cheapest cheerer-upper on a gloomy day…

Witzend, yes, me too, 3! bunches with my Waitrose delivery, also short. I have them on my kitchen window sill above the sink, cheerful and bright.
They are hand picked in Cornwall, for £1 a bunch, instant sunshine.

You can see the snow outside but I am blessed with these growing a little more each day. The three came planted and reduced as they were outgrowing a tiny pot for £3, huge roots, and all I had to do was pop them in a bigger pot. ☺️

They are so cheerful.
Unfortunately I have my Sainsbury’s order delivered and there was no reminder to order them.
It will be a week or so before I have another one so will ask my “ lodgers” if they will call in to buy me some.
A reminder of better weather to come.

I wish I liked daffodils. I was just thinking about them yesterday and wondering what it was about them that I didn't like. Probably because they are too obvious and over the top bright! I do love snowdrops and scillas though but in the ground. I wouldn't pick them.
