Just for fun. What would you call a gritter if you had chance to name one?

I’ve just read that
Taylor Drift, SnOasis and Ctrl-Salt-Delete are among the names chosen for 10 new gritters set for Lancashire's roads this winter.
The names were chosen as part of a council competition to name the machines, which will now join the county's 45-strong fleet.
Also chosen were Gritty Gritty Bang Bang, Gritzilla, I Skid You Not, Professor Dumblethaw, Ready Salted, The Greatest Snowman and Walter the Salter.

We already have most of those up here north of the border. I love the fact that we name our gritters in Scotland and I love spotting them when we're out and about.

The not so funny sight of a gritter having to reverse out of a road because of double parking made me think of The Iceman Cometh.

Ours are named too, I like Catherine Sleeta Jones, and Rob Brrrdon. I think though that I’d call mine Grit Happens.
