Oh, so very sorry to hear this, Alwaysworrying. It’s good to rant and get it off your chest, and us Grans are here for you. Keep warm and cosy with a blanket and hot water bottle. Be comfortable and indulge yourself. I do hope you feel better very soon. 🤗

I so sorry for you you’ve got every right to feel sorry for your self, the kidney infection, very nasty but to lose your scheduled injections that is beyond a joke.
Having a fall under any conditions is nasty but to go down on your knees oh no I can imagine how you feel.
Warm water, bathing your hands and knees gently and some germolene or any soothing cream should help you feel a little bit better.
The I would suggest you let everything pass you by, curl up under your favourite blanket, perhaps watch the telly or listen to-the radio and a little doze this should help,
Never worry about feeling sorry for yourself, I do, I have times when I’m angry with the world and everybody in it and some people might say that’s pitiful, well it’s my life, my mood and I don’t care, so join me and we can feel sorry together.
Sending best wishes to you and do hope you feel better soon.

The saying, " It never rains but it pours." is certainly true. Take care of yourself, feel sorry for yourself, have a good cry I think it works wonders. I hope your luck changes soon.

Sympathies OP. Thats a horrible 2 weeks. And falling over caps it all. Do make sure that you clean your grazes very well. The last thing you want is for them to be infected while your immune system is probably under stress.
Look after yourself. Can you get a relative or friend to help out with some shopping or get a delivery. I am not surprised you are fed up. Have a good rant.

There's nothing wrong with feeling sorry for yourself from time to time and you're certainly having a tough time of it at the moment.

I hope you're able to have the spinal steroid injections soon.

Take care flowers

Hello Grans!
Just a bit of a self pitying rant really🤔
I’ve had a difficult couple of weeks, including a UTI/Kidney infection that is still hanging about after 2 lots of antibiotics…this has made me postpone some spinal steroid injections, which l’ve been waiting 14 months for (they don’t like to give you steroid injections with an active infection. )And then if that wasn’t enough, today l struggled to the supermarket with my trolley and on the way back l fell over after tripping on a pavement stone and have cuts and abrasions on my hands, knees and feel very sore indeed.
I don’t usually feel sorry for myself, but today l do! Hope others have had a better time than me!
