utbb, you are right, I had my gall bladder removed in September. While doing the scan for that they discovered a mass on my kidney - my kidney was being monitored because of a cyst. I had the kidney removed at the beginning of January - by robotic keyhole surgery. I have recovered well from both those ops but have been left with some 'gastric' issues due to my lack of a gall bladder. And, I've got a cold now too.
Oh dear kitty I hope she is ok but I thought you had had gall bladder removal not kidney, I must have made a wrong assumption or read someone else’s texts . I do hope you are all ok . So many bad colds ,worse than usual going round, my two GS’s both have them and they are both here. I have warned them to keep them away from me.
A hug from me too kitty I hope your DD gets treatment urgently and is soon home again. grandmabatty I hope you feel better in the morning. Night night everyone.
Oh kitty hope your DD is ok and home soon with some suitable treatment, a gentle hug for you ❤️ So sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly grandmabatty hope it’s just a 24h thing and you’re better tomorrow So pleased for you Blossoming well done Georgesgran 💐
DD2, who came and took her Dad to the football because he has been looking after me so well since I had my kidney removed, is in her local Urgent Care Centre in extreme pain from what sounds like kidney stones.
Delightful Blossoming long may it last. Disappointed to see the local hospital in Southampton, I was in recently, has had a bad fire, no one hurt though. A quiet day, rain this afternoon for a change, MrJ - getting pretty good at this cooking lark - provided roast chicken with veg. Oh, oh Grandmabatty bed it is, take care. I do hope the soops are hunkered down together.
Good evening kitchen folk. I have had a day mostly lying down. I felt under the weather after a very achy night so retreated to bed and I don't feel sorry at all. So today I have emptied and loaded the dishwasher and that's all. I'm having some mince pie, potatoes and green beans then I'll probably go back to bed. Lots of sneezing and nose blowing. I don't feel too bad at the moment but I'll see how early childcare goes tomorrow. Enjoy your evening
DH has been nagging me to try out his new car, I gave in this afternoon 🤷♀️
It is lovely to drive, but every question I asked him, he couldn’t answer (this is after having it for the last 12 days). No buttons on the dashboard, just a very large touchscreen and lots of buttons on the steering wheel.
Just about to go and start prepping dinner (roast beef).
I hope our dear soop is comfortable now she is back home.
I have finally caught up! After being really very poorly for a few weeks with a stinking cold that I couldn’t shake off, I am feeling so much better. We are still keeping up with twice daily walks but on the bad days they have been much shorter. Today however this afternoon’s walk has been the longest I’ve attempted for the past year. We walked upriver along the pleasant riverside path, then across the railway line and back down the length of the main dock. The sun even came out to say hello. I hope it doesn’t sound like I’m crowing among all this sad news, but I feel happier than I have for a long time and wanted to share it. TOYA ♥️
I’m good GrandmaC47, thank you for asking. Just been lying low with a few problems, but nothing to compare with what others here are going through. I’ve given my head a wobble for tomorrow. X
