So sorry that to hear that our dear soop is in hospital, and hoping that the various drips help her to get home to mr soop as soon as possible.

The leatest from soop is that she was admitted to hospital at 1.30am yesterday and hooked up to various fluids. Blood test results were "unfavourable" so she was put on a different drip today. She hopes very much to be allowed to return home tomorrow. I think her greatest sadness is being parted from MrSoop.

dustyangel I’m so very sorry to hear about your DH, but I’m glad your DDs are with you at the moment and you were able to be together to say goodbye to him.

Such a lot of sadness in the kitchen recently, but I guess it’s to be expected as we get older.

So sad for you Dustyangel we have both been on GN for many years and in and out of the kitchen.
In a “previous life”I was annsixty if you don’t recognise me.
So thankful your D’s were with you.
January has been a very sad and upsetting month.
I met up with a friend this morning whose H died last Friday.
A neighbour, an acquaintance, a friend of a friend died and one friend diagnosed as terminally ill.
It has been very sad and distressing but as we age it happens.
I wish you well in your future and your new normal.

Thank you for the explanation LucyAnna. Of course, I now remember, as I thought of her as FGT when reading through threads and noticed she hadn't been on for a while but thought she may have been 'banned' for some reason, obviously upthread proves a different, more disturbing reason.
