I don't remember drinking much water when I was young. We had orange squash and fizzy drinks from the ice cream man occasionally.

Yes, we never took drinks out with us unless we were going out for the day then my old mum would make up a thermos flask of tea.
The only water we drank was called ‘corporation pop’ the water from the tap, which was usually used to dilute a glass of vimto.

My daughter asked me if when I was younger if I used to buy much bottled water and honestly I can never remember drinking much when I was a child! Drinks on the go were unheard of in my family. Does anyone else have the same memory
