This ghastly person and his gang seem to be everywhere in the news.
It's utterly depressing.

I don’t think SF has claimed victim status? eazybee Nothing like the £12 million paid by the late queen to Victoria Giuffre. It just seems a bit disproportionate and it’s also highly unlikely that SF was ever going to be financially self sufficient. The royal family did make a serious error of judgment?

Sarah Ferguson was photographed by paps on holiday with a lover having her toes sucked six years after her marriage , I think her daughter was watching

Iam64 Mon 02-Feb-26 13:44:07

Her daughters were there

eazybee Mon 02-Feb-26 13:47:23

Well, Ronib, Guiffre is identified as a Victim.
Sarah Ferguson brought her marital problems upon herself.

The Queen did make an error of judgement in paying whatever huge amount it was to Guiffre. That and later payments she amassed were supposed to fund charities to help women victims, but much of the money remained in her possession or was used to buy property. She left instructions for the money to go her children, no mention of her charities, but did not make a proper will and I believe her brother, among others , is contesting it.

Thank you Iam such long time since the photograph hit the headlines.

I think all these releases are to take the heat off Trump. There must be a lot of dirt on him that he'll be anxious to keep hidden.

It’s not the US media that is concentrating on Andrew and Mandelson though, it’s the UK media. Do you think that is a deliberate ploy to avoid Trump, Clinton et al being discussed here? I’d assumed it was just feeding the UK public the British interest elements of the story because that is what the UK can influence.

A bunch of pervs and lot life creeps

Epstein was s very dark figure indeed.

This scandal makes the Profumo Affair look like an episode of Paddington Bear.

It’s a mystery to me how Prince Andrew can break his marriage vows many times over and yet, one photo of one lover with SF caused hysteria in royal circles. According to commentators above … misogyny at its best?

Well this is a no brainer, of course Mandelson should be stripped of his peerage, if the King has stripped his own brother of his titles surely this goes without saying.

There are more urgent and important issues and priblems in UK To be dealt with at the moment

Sarah Ferguson and a lack of financial support?

Don't make me laugh. Many people are cold and hungry, most of them get off their backsides and get a job.

She is just profligate.

Most people could live very well on the settlement she received from the Royal Family, plus her earnings from book dosage, Weightwatchers etc.

There was no mention of Andrew having affairs six years after his marriage, Sarah said she was lonely because he was at sea. The talk of him having affairs came years later from Sarah,

book dosage book sales!

Jennifereccles.....there was nothing disgusting about it, they were both fully clothed, nothing touching and there was nothing sexual about it.

Some of us are capable of multi-tasking, discussing more than one issue.

No doubt these problems are being dealt with by the Government.

One point which is pertinent, however, is that Mandelson is a member of our Upper House and was also one of the most important and influential Ambassadors representing the UK.

There was no mention of Andrew having affairs six years after his marriage
It is alleged that he was, even in the first year after marrying.

Sarah F's main talent has been, and always probably will be, letting money slip through her fingers.

I believe the late Queen once bailed her out for the sum of 4 million to keep the creditors at bay. She seemingly learned nothing.

knspol Mon 02-Feb-26 14:37:21

A convicted paedophile and I can't imagine how so many well known individuals were amongst his circle surely at least some of them knew what he was like and others were of course complicit.
I do wonder what he thought the return would be on the vast sums of money he gave to people, £75k to Mandelson and he doesn't recollect this. Fed up of hearing about it all and fed up of seeing the photos. Don't like Mandelson but don't like the humiliation aspect of repeatedly showing the pics.
Also think the pressure on AMW to give a statement or answer questions is a waste of time because he's hardly likely to tell the truth!

eazybee Mon 02-Feb-26 14:46:11

How do you know Andrew broke his marriage vows so many times? By whom was it alleged?

It was the presence of the child in the photograph that provoked outrage.

ronib Mon 02-Feb-26 14:55:24

anniebach how do you know PA didn’t?
There’s a queue forming for compensation …

Anniebach Mon 02-Feb-26 15:28:56

ronib Mon 02-Feb-26 15:37:39

Andrew Lownie’s book Entitled suggests that it was a very open marriage…. I can’t imagine that Lownie would risk prosecution if untrue? In any event, not really our major preoccupation?

Sleepyhead52 Mon 02-Feb-26 15:44:53

I'm not argung that he is innocence personified but ... what is the story that you see?
