This ghastly person and his gang seem to be everywhere in the news.
It's utterly depressing.

It would now appear that the dodgy dealings go beyond those we know. Misuse of the trade envoy role?

Evidence?
Does a witness statement count as evidence?
Which witness do we believe?
The male witness or the female witness?
The alleged perp, or the alleged victim?

I would say Sarah Ferguson is the villain of the piece with regard to the Fall of the House of York, in her constant demands for money, which was spent as soon as it reached her bank account. The notorious photograph of Epstein and Andrew walking in the Park was apparently was a meeting to discuss Sarah's need for more money to pay off debts of (possibly) £5 million. Referred to in the emails in the Files.

Words fail me.

Oh, by the way, Mandelson's two homes (Camden and Wiltshire) are being searched by the police. No charges made.

They walk amongst us. We have an extremely good idea that he is guilty Oreo. It is only a matter of time until the conclusive proof is produced, when the redacted files are released, probably after Trump has died.

Oreo Fri 06-Feb-26 17:24:14

Criminal evidence is important Casdon as without it we don’t know if he’s guilty or not!
Enjoying parties and young women isn’t against the law.
It’s seedy and it’s brought the RF into disrepute but more than that we can’t say.

Casdon Fri 06-Feb-26 17:18:40

Why are you obsessed with criminal evidence David49? Unless all the redacted files are released, we must appreciate that people will not be prosecuted, specifically because lawyers have spent months sanitising what we see. That does not mean people are not guilty, or that we should discount the pieces we do know.

It’s not just about one photograph, on one occasion though. It’s about the 3000 mentions in the files, the sexual innuendo in emails, the record of him on planes, the reports of his affairs, the Andrew Lownie (well referenced) book, the corroboration. The fact that his family spent a lot of money, then took his titles away. It’s cumulative evidence, from numerous different and unconnected sources, so it’s not all going to be wrong.

All of which adds up to absolutely nothing in criminal evidence terms, AMW may well be a liar and a fool who has brought his whole world down and embarrassed his family greatly.
There no criminal evidence yet, with thousands of documents examined Im actually quite suprised nothing incriminating has been revealed

Having affairs isnt illegal, he was single anyway, lying isnt illegal, innuendo isnt illegal.

Interesting point. With everything AI can do, the onus is soon going to be on having to prove that the photo is actually genuine.

CariadAgain Fri 06-Feb-26 15:31:16

Well - someone has just analysed that recent (ie since Epstein's death/"death") photo of him in Palestine (Tel Aviv) with those other two men with AI.

Back came a response to the question they asked of "Is this photo real? Is it a real photo? Is it really him" and a step-by-step breakdown by AI - concluding with a firm "Yep....it's him...bit older and tattier-looking. But it is him".

Hmmm....

What I am saying Smileless2012 is that as the evidence mounts, it becomes less and less likely that he is not guilty. Every day there are new pieces of the Epstein files jigsaw being pieced together, and every one of those pieces stacks up. It’s correct to say that someone is innocent until proved guilty, but the probability that they are increases as the evidence does. I’m not anti royalist by the way, I’m only a realist.

How do you get around Maxwell, with her in the background, confirming that the photo of AMW and VG was taken at her London home and is genuine? AMW has consistently lied that it was fake. Not the actions of a man with nothing to hide.

That was interesting, CariadAgain, but I didn't take to the "mortician" Very posey/flirty with her post-recording insertions of little comments, "Look at me, I know all this morbid stuff, but I am so girly and attractive" style.

I'm not keen on her personal style - but it is what it is and it's the information I want.

YouTube puts up videos from topics we've shown interest in generally and so it came up as a suggestion from there.

How on earth did you come across her? Accidentally?

Irrespective of the usual descriptors of Epstein, ie billionaire financier and peadophile, he must have had an absolutely magnetic personality to have drawn so many wealthy people into his web of influence. If only he'd survived the not at all hmm suspicious 'suicide'. What a lot he'd have to tell.

Casdon Fri 06-Feb-26 13:43:59

This one is just weird. Did he want to become immortal?

That is true Galaxy, which is why I said she is not the villain. That has to be Epstein. In the Epstein villains premiership she is near the bottom of the table I would expect.

Epstein is the evil spider at the centre of this vast, sticky web.

Casdon Fri 06-Feb-26 13:22:12

On that we agree. Every day brings new horrors.

Galaxy Fri 06-Feb-26 13:16:24

Maybe but maybe those lower level villians enable the higher level villians to flourish. All of it is depressing.

It seems likely unfortunately that there are many villians in this story.

Sarah Ferguson is revealed through Epstein's emails as the one constantly needing money, and prepared to do anything to get it, including bringing her daughters, aged 19 and 20 as requested by him, to tea at Epstein's house She knew exactly what was going on, and is rapidly turning into the villain of the piece. I wonder who she has latched on to now to support her.

She is a foolish, greedy woman, but the villain of the piece? I think not.
