How lovely to think that Winter is loosening his grip and Spring will soon be taking the stagesunshine
Love, love, love all of the Spring flowers and the thought of all the little birds and nestlings is so hopeful. I brought a few snowdrops inside yesterday for Imbolc and already had daffs in a pretty jug, just need to find somewhere not too muddy & slippy to snip a couple of catkin branches.
It's the anticipation of all the goodness to come!

Happy Imbolc ☺️.
We have a bank holiday today in Ireland for St. Brigid's day.
She's a pagan deity as well as Christian saint and is a sort of female counterpart to Patrick, except she's actually Irish.
Being a British immigrant to Ireland, I am just gradually learning about these things ☺️!

The above is a follow-up to the O.P. and I concur with her post - the snowdrops and daffodils are just lovely and lift one's spirits as the first small signs of the spring to come.

I follow the French tradition of making crêpes for La Chandeleur. The round shape and golden colur refers to the return of Spring after the dark and cold of winter. You toss the crêpe with one hand and hold a gold coin in the other for prosperity all year. Another tradition is to place the first one on top of the wardrobe or cupboard for a year!
Here's some I made earlier today. I'll eat one with lashings of Nutella at tea time, and maybe one filled with blueberries and cream for dinner.

If there’s pancakes then I’m all for it 😃

The recipe is easy, and inexpensive too.
In Brittany crêpes are often eaten at home on two or three days a week.
