Looking forward to experiencing apricity - lovely word. It's still very dull and damp in the Black Country.

The Danes have a word for the imprint of your teeth on butter!

Found it thanks to Google. Petrichor the smell of rain on dry earth. Not what we have at the moment rain on sodden earth.
Newly cut grass doesn't have its own word.
I shall remember apricity. It's a lovely feeling. Winter sunshine.

I've forgotten what that feels like. Snow turning to heavy rain here in North Wales.

A lovely word but cannot be applied to this part of Berkshire at the moment. It will be nice when it comes.
