Well, if anyone is going to start photoshopping then they need to become expert at it before publishing photos to share.

Don't all young people Photoshop photos now? It isn't a big deal to put some balloons in a photo with or without string.

I don’t really care whether balloons are fake.

I do worry about publicity photos where children’s’ bodies have been altered to fit the image that parents want to project.

The long slender limbs that fit the current image of good looks but are actually out of proportion on a real person.

I know artists have done this for centuries, but something about photoshopping children sits uneasily with me.

What is really like is photos of RF with those funny heads photoshopped onto them. We could all have a good natured laugh and stop moaning about balloons and arms and so on

They are only of interest because they keep seeking the limelight when they left this country to avoid publicity.

It is very odd indeed, the father/daughter Valentine concept and unfortunately another American import to this country, it sees, where it is nothing normalised.

If I never again saw another photo of anyone connected at all to the RF it would be too soon. Of course I see them because they’re impossible to avoid but then wanting to dissect the photos is just bonkers. But in fact of course criticising a photo is a proxy for criticising those associated with it ie here H and M. I also think you’re muddling up privacy and publicity. Because you post photos of your children ( yes Kate I’m also looking at you) doesn’t mean, and nor should it, that you don’t want and indeed shouldn’t he entitled to privacy in other situations For example, I remember when Kate was photographed on holiday in a private chateau and won damages in a French court. Absolutely right, the publishing of those photos was completely wrong. The RF rely on well managed publicity and enjoy enormous privacy.

Despite striving to be Disney aristocrats this family’s American half doesn’t understand how royalty works.

It's not that difficult.

Whenever there is the usual M&H pile on, and their utter evilness, there’s an implicit undertone of the utter perfection of the rf in general. Some of the same posters go on the Andrew threads and bleat ‘innocent until proved guilty’. But imo what matters even more is that it’s beyond any reasonable doubt that senior royals have known for ages about it all - that’s a real scandal. Tutting about a little girl’s hair or valentine photos with her dad ( when a simple google would have explained that’s normal in the USA - daft as I find it) is ridiculous. H and M are only of interest anyway because of the royal connection So basically no such thing as a H and M thread.

Yes it is my opinion and I think you will find that's the general consensus, that Andrew is guilty, but whilst I think you may be in a minority Cossy, you are of course entitled to think otherwise.

Just to be clear, I absolutely believe Andrew and his wife, are guilty and deliberately mislead the public, and indeed their friends and relatives, about the nature of their long, close and disgusting relationship with Epstein.

Cossy I mentioned Catherine's photo up thread. It was the one released of her with all three children for Mothering Sunday. She had photoshopped it, and it was intended to reassure the public she was OK after her stomach operation and cancer diagnosis. She was hounded to the point of having to make a public apology. Don't think that's ever happened to Harry or Meghan.

I believe that too is wrong and frankly ridiculous, sorry I missed your comment

I’m not brave, I find the majority of our lively and lovely GNs able to debate and able to accept we are all different and therefore naturally have differing opinions and often we simply agree to disagree.
