Understood, RosiesMawagain! Don’t worry! 😀
"I know there are people worse off then me"
Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dry ,dark and cold morning here in Brackley this morning .
I glance out of my window and look for signs of spring but nothing yet , due the wet weather having a grip on the country for a few weeks yet looking at the charts .
The usual bus trip into Bicester , return and have lunch , followed by cycling on TV from a warmer place in UAE.
Health OK ,
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all from a bright but still chilly west midlands.
Wishing my best to all of you Gran's & thinking of those of you who are struggling with health or family issues at the moment.
This chilly weather make a me feel very hungry, so I've just cooked some nice wholemeal pasta twirls to add to my lunchtime soup.
They just makes it a bit more filling &substantial; small pleasures.
I think that at this time of year we have to be kind to ourselves, if not certain interfering, bossy husbands! (Naming no names!)

Not you Ashcombe - an “intruder” who has now disappeared. Hope no misunderstanding!
Good morning all and it’s bright and sunny here in Essex.
I managed to get an appointment with a nurse for Dh but as soon as she saw his sore on his chest she called the doctor in. An urgent referral to the hospital. Something else to worry about.
Dd has gone downhill again and will try for an appointment today. DGD is having a sleepover with a friend.
I know how you feel Pants - all medical appointments and no time for anything else.
Having said that, I’m determined to go to Bridge today as I haven’t been for a few weeks.
It will give me a boost and give Dh a quiet afternoon.
Take care all and enjoy the sunshine ☀️

Marydoll I've got over my uncharacteristic pouted lips! The boys are fed and watered and my cough has subsided.
Glad to hear the world is back in equilibrium. GMB..
My lips continue to pout! 🤣
Good Morning from y a bright and frozen Co Armagh
I’m just about to get y porridge out of the microwave, I was reading in bed and only the pangs of hunger dragged me out and into the shower
Hoping our mountaineers reach a safe and happy place today xx
Good Morning from a bright, sunny Durham - there’s barely a cloud in the sky.
Thank you for the messages about my dental appointment. Without going into too much detail, I can only say that the wrong ‘item’ was received! I know it’s not life or death, but as a result I will be voluntarily housebound for a week! The Dentist was very apologetic and to say I was shocked is an understatement. I’m back next Monday morning. Meanwhile,
I’m supposed to be at the Chiropodist today, but I’ve phoned to cancel and just paid for the short notice.
On returning home, I found the washing machine displaying a fault code. The motor’s gone, so I need to order a new machine. Without DH now, I’ll have to opt for the full delivery, installation, removal service.
Thinking of others with very real medical problems.
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from a sunny Torbay.
A late start to the morning by our standards following an enjoyable evening at The Little Theatre watching the opening night of The Ghost Train. A complicated play technically which was well handled and a credit to a new director for our company. One new actor faltered on his lines, which rarely happens in our company, but the other actors came to his rescue.
Good to see Pantglas again but I’m sorry to hear of the medical woes. Similarly, I hope those caring for grandchildren so stoically when feeling below par soon feel better, especially Grandmabatty and Bellasnana. Good luck with the house clearance, Susan56. Not an easy task which I well remember tackling when my late mother vacated her home in favour of going into care.
I hope today gives you all a reason to smile. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩
Sorry that was for Greyduster
I agree, I’ll ask him
Good morning from a cold bright corner of S E Essex.
Today I must feed the washing machine and crack on with the ironing, how exciting (not)
Good to see you posting pantglas
Thinking of those with troubles and ills 🙋♀️
Good morning all from Glasgow, where it is -2° .
Good to see you back, my naughty pupil, Pants.♥️
Georgesgran, I'm sorry to hear of your dental woes. 💐 I had a planned dental procedure tomorrow, but I couldn't face it, in the light of everything that is going on, therefore cancelled it.
Yesterday's visit to see DD was so heartening, as we witnessed the last line being removed. She was like a different person and displayed such a beaming smile, when she saw us. She is moving onto the next stage of her treatment, no more drips etc.
Even the bus journey was seamless, catching both buses, without having to wait.
We went to the baker's, before catching the second bus home and bumped into the young sacristan, who has shouldered the burden of my duties, during my absence,
DH's face was a picture, when we had a business meeting, in the middle of the shopping centre.
It worked out well, I had been going to phone him, anyway.
Apparently one parishioner came in to the sacristy on Sunday to complain, that I hadn't amended one of the displayed rotas to include his name. A major issue......., really!!!
This is despite, me informing everyone of DD's and own illness and the delay in getting things done. I was raging.
No compassion, nor understanding.
This is the second parishioner in the last few days, who has complained, despite sending emails and texts, apologising and explaining why I had been unable to get things done.
Such good, Christian people.😪
Grandmabatty, I can empathise, with your resentment, You and Bellasnanna are both unwell, yet are having to do childcare single handedly. At least I have DH, if I am struggling.
Our children can be quite selfish thoughtless at times.
DS1 has never acknowledged the support, we give him.
I wish you all a pleasant day, Susan, I hope today goes smoothly.
Have a pleasant day and thinking of all the poorlies. 💐
A quiet day for me, apart from Sainsbury's for essentials.
I'm still feeling unwell and in pain. I hate being an old lady!!! 😉
Morning from a light frost in S Hants, my consultant visit yesterday was positive, basically keep going as I am for a few more weeks being careful. I was impressed, we were in and out within the hour.
Sorry to hear pantglas of hectic times, soon to be calmer I hope.
Here’s to ears being cleared, as a regular user of such a service it does make life easier.
I’d forgotten it was pancake day and doubt, as temporary chief cook, MrJ will have any on the menu!

Good morning from West Lothian, where it’s dry and bright but cold.
Yesterday was a good day with my friend. Looked a couple of show houses on a new development near her (I am thinking of moving house later this year so it’s good to see what sort of houses are on the market). They were lovely but huge (4 and 5 bedroom and correspondingly expensive) so not really what we need. After that we went for lunch at a new cafe and had a good catch up. She retired recently but is spending a lot of her time helping her DD with her horse so seems busier than ever. She also has three very energetic dogs to look after.
Today I’m getting my hair done. I originally arranged it because my hip op was supposed to be this Saturday and I wanted it done just before that but then the operation was postponed and I forgot to reschedule the hairdresser. I’ll take the book club that I’m ploughing through and try to read a bit more of that
Good morning everyone from Inverness, we’ve had some more overnight snow so everything is white outside and it’s cold at -2°
Good to have you back with us Pantglas but sorry to hear of your ongoing family health worries
Another busy day as I’m going to the gym for a couple of classes this morning and then this afternoon I’ve a volunteering session at the local hospital. I should be home late afternoon and ready for a rest. I’m looking forward to the weather getting better so I can get on with some gardening, hopefully soon!
Sorry to hear about the dental ordeal yesterday Georgesgran hope it’s sorted soon
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐
Good morning from (at least for now) sunny Wiltshire. I’ve had a rubbish night.
As it’s half term we have the youngest GCs today. We are talking our lives in our hands and taking them to Ask in Marlborough for lunch where kids eat free atm. I hope they don’t fight endlessly. Early drop off at the Leisure centre as they have swimming lessons.
GS1 collected another haul of swimming cups at the weekend. I don’t know how his parents cope with such a time intensive passtime. His sister has lots too but I don’t think she is as committed and wants to concentrate on her other hobby, ancro-arts which is a combo of dance and acrobatics.
I’m glad that your DiL is making better progress now MD. It’s really hard looking after GCs when you are feeling ropey GMB and Bella. I know the ‘feeling taken for granted’ vibe too.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning from Suffolk where I’m hoping the predicted sun appears. For the first time for a few weeks I put out and got nearly dried a load of washing. There was quite a heavy shower whilst I was shopping for lemons for today’s pancakes in our nearest town 5 miles away but not a drop here.
I’m meeting one of my closest friends today for lunch. We usually have a 3+ hour get together every 2-3 weeks but she has been really unwell recently and we haven’t seen each other since before Christmas. A mega catch up is on the cards.
I haven’t yet read the posts but will do so over my first cuppa. I hope all have the best day possible and those unwell are on the mend.
Good morning from the NE where it is 0° but dry.
SIL is going to visit this morning and we will go shopping. He returns to his home in Brussels tomorrow so he will not stay long.
Have a good day.
Good morning all from the Black country where a dry day is predicted.
We are taking DS and the boys to the nearby designer outlet today, there are a few things he is looking for and the boys love the play area. Will get the boys feet measured while we are there any shoes purchased will be courtesy of grandma.
Pantglas good to see you posting sorry your having a bit of a rough time sending hugs.
Well have the best day you can everyone, enjoy your pancakes if you have them none cooked here don't like them.☀️
Good morning all from a very cold North Leicestershire.
Choir today - first time in about 6 months. Dd2 and the girls will also come and then go home after lunch. DD is still in pain and very tired so I hope she gets a date for her op soon.
I use Henderson's Relish rather than Worcestershire Sauce as it is gf.
Have the best date possible everyone.
Good morning from the East Coast and I think it will be another bright day.
Had a good morning with DGS yesterday we went to the park early so he could have the zip line to himself. Later to the duck park. He was laughing at the little Moorhens chasing each other across the water getting amorous. I put my arms around him and chatted about all the different ducks, the colours and all the nature around us. A moment of joy 😍 At home when he played in the garden and asked for the slide and water slide and he realised they had gone I did get a slap for that. I told him they were broken and in the bin. He is mostly non verbal and struggles to understand. But a near perfect morning. DS picked him up at lunchtime and they were doing their own routine of afternoon events. It’s always the same in the holidays.
DD and GDs came for a chicken dinner later with Yorkshire puds. GD2 was dropped off with me while GD1 did her Jujitsu she is extra training for her next belt she is high up for seven. GD2 was really fussy just the two of us and chatted my head off. Birthday gift requests were included in the conversation.
Today I will see the girls again at mums. My mum has a playroom full of toys from our younger days and mostly from my younger sister who is now torturing mum with cruelty. Though thankfully she doesn’t come near her and mum has blocked her in every way she can. Sister has now committed fraud and it’s a police matter but I don’t think it can be proven. Basically she wants everything Mum has and I think the clothes off her back.
Mum needs a good dose of cheering up. She was very upset again yesterday on the phone to my DH.
Tonight we are having pancakes one will be with bacon, cheese mushrooms and beans and a sweet one with honey.
Hope everyone can find a moment of joy today and thoughts to those struggling 🌼💐
Good morning everyone from mid Essex. A cold but sunny morning here. We came home yesterday from our weekend away, so I’m feeling rather flat today. It was a very enjoyable weekend, lots of fun and good food. Spoilt slightly by my cough and cold, I hope I kept my germs to myself.
Back to reality today! The washing is done and now needs ironing and I need to go to B&Q to buy another plug in nightlight to replace the one I stupidly left behind in the holiday house yesterday!
pantglas I’m sorry you’re going through such a difficult time with your Dad and DH.
I hope that those with hearing issues are soon able to hear more clearly after treatment.
md I hope that your DDiL continues to improve and is soon recovering at home.
Thinking of those who are struggling for any reason and hope that life gets easier for you all soon,
Have the best day possible everyone with some 🌞.
