I do shop at Waitrose, you can get good
bargains and my friend gives me her home hatched eggs she cannot sell!

My eggs are Duchy Free range Organic…from Waitrose 😀
I fell in love with John Lewis 60 years ago when I was taken there to get my school uniform.
I had never been in a shop so amazing and have shopped there almost exclusively there ever since.

I’m far from posh.

That was to BB

Oh me too.

Been in John Lewis once?
Waitrose, about 5 times.
I am much posher on the egg front however.

I shop in those places too and I would buy my eggs from the farm down the lane only I don't eat eggs.
Does that make me posh?

Only according to Kittlester’s dgd 😆
What she really means of course is that her gran has money enough to shop there.

I think you’re out of touch - it’s all about sustainability so buy from charity shops and EBay secondhand….
The really posh have their own chickens ….

I would say she’s got it sorted I ve never been in Waitrose or John Lewis and there’s no farms near here 🤣so I m definitely in the lower end of humans 🤣

I can add M & S Food Hall and local farm shop 😹

(Best not to talk about clothes, footwear or handbags)

Haha, tho she isn’t all that wrong, it doesn’t denote great wealth or an aristocratic background but it does take money to shop at those places on a regular basis.

I shop at John Lewis, Waitrose but the giddy limit is buying eggs from an egg farm.

She is almost 13 and an authority on most things.
