World falling apart around you? Ex-husband arrested? Here's the answer

I've started a new thread because the existing AMW thread is dealing with the loftier side of things.

"I haven't got any money" seems to be a phrase that means different things to different folk.

It's reported that allegedly, Sarah Ferguson is experiencing deep personal trauma. Apparently homeless and with no known source of regular income she has ...

"...spent a few days with friends in the French Alps and is now thought to be in the United Arab Emirates".

Life's a bitch isn't it?

How old are those Corgis now?

Surely she can take them to the PDSA?

Maremia Sat 21-Feb-26 16:04:53

They will enjoy that Pedigree Chum.

Lovely photo Allira

😁

They are rather anxious now, though!

Does anyone think there’s ever any likelihood of SF and AMW both holding up their hands and saying ‘yes, we did xxx and yyy, we admit we were wrong, we admit we made unwise choices, how can we now put this right?”

Maremia Sat 21-Feb-26 15:32:28

Sorry, my pennies will o on Pedigree Chum for the corgis.

Update

Apparently there is a custody battle between Andrew and Sarah over the corgis.

Glad the corgis are in good hands, thanks.
The Princesses and Epstein. I think he expected them to show 'visitors' around the Palace, as shown in some of the released emails.
What did he think if them?
He thought one of them was 'cute'.
It's all a bit nauseating. 🤢

I have a jar of pennies and two pence pieces somewhere!

Fantastico - every penny counts. If you wish to make card payments you may use your American Express Centurion (Black Card).

I humbly thank you on poor Sarah's behalf. It may have my name on the bank account but please rest assured that all payments will go directly to SF.

He's certainly not an immigrant worker as he never works.

Thousands and thousands of low class people are abused and killed in Dubai but no worries.

Heartbreaking! I'm going to start a go-fund-me page. I'm sure you can all spare a bit from your winter fuel allowance.

Yes Dubai lovely as long as you’re not gay or a migrant worker ( as opposed to an ex pat) . Also not too keen on extra marital sex ( unless you’re a member of the ruling family)

Shouldn't cause AMW any problems. We have no reason to think he is gay or an immigrant worker and he is a member of a ruling family and I believe the ruling family in Dubai usually extend to members of other ruling families, the same privileges they reserve for themselves.

Dubai is alright. Very friendly people, too. I’m sure Andy would fit in there and he could just disappear in a puff of sand.

Who needs to go to the Alps?
Isn't there snow and skiing in Dubai?
Even penguins if you want your photo taken with Pingu!

As MOnica said, I assume Bea and Eugenie grew up knowing Mummy had loads of men friends.

From being little, there was Steve Wyatt, then the toe sucking bald ‘financial adviser’ whose name escapes me. Years later she was with some older Italian count who the press reckoned she would marry….and probably others.

Plus all the time, she and Andrew were still ‘together’ a lot of the time.

The two girls must have had a strange childhood in many ways.

My daughter at 19 an 20 would have researched Epstein and said mum, what on earth are you thinking. He’s well dodgy.

Seriously, no one I’ve seen is suggesting Sarah F was in some way offering him her daughters, more that she wasn’t being a good role model.

Exactly

But this would have been nearly 20 years ago, when people were less likely to do such searches and much less was available online.

I would say given how dodgy SF herself is, I would think her DD's had decided that the best thing to do was go for the meal and see him as being another of her dodgy friends that usually came and went and of no interest to them. I mean he was nearly 40 years older than them.

I doubt there is not much the daughters don’t know and they have very wealthy husbands, so money won’t be a problem..

The Princesses were several years above the age of consent, so in no danger. Not that I am defending SF's decision.

That’s not the point I was making - it wasn’t about her offering them up but about thinking any of them lunching with him was what anyone with a ‘reputation to lose’ would do. Csn you imagine allowing your daughters even of their age to be in his presence.? You’d wonder wouldn’t you at what was in his mind when he looked at them, where his hands were under the table yuk yuk yuk. She had no reputation to lose

I wonder if she signed an NDA when they divorced? Because she may get desperate and someone is going to dangle a carrot, IMO.

Vile comments. Not a fan of Fergie at all, but she has been accused of nothing, yet you all malign and denigrate her. Because of course you on GN are all seeing. This is very juicy for the anti monarchist on here. Do you know all your own family's secrets.
Be careful, slander can be answerable in a court of law.

Have you read the Lownie book at all?

Maybe some of us aren't anti.....just disgusted.

Well firstly it would be libel not slander Secondly she’d have to prove reputations damage - good luck with that. - she took her daughters to have lunch with him shortly after his release - he was a convicted paedophile . I don’t think any of my family have dark secrets but that’s irrelevant anyway. We’re not the royal family and have had none of their completely unearned privilege.
