Darned predictive text - I know I typed ‘chitting’ but glad to have entertained you (it could have been worse ie change of first letter rather than vowel!). I have now entertained DH with your comments HelterSkelter1 and Grammaretto 😂

NannyJan53 Mon 16-Mar-26 15:14:51

I too have had 2 PM’s from Mr K. One with a 6 after the name. Obviously very busy this morning!

Grammaretto Mon 16-Mar-26 14:09:37

I also wondered what your tatties were chatting about litterpicker 😂

Mine are chittering with cold on my sill. I'll not plant them for a while

Thanks for asking about the house Grandmabatty. I haven't heard yet about the one I'd like to buy and mine should go on the market mid April. I'll know more later in the week.

ixion Mon 16-Mar-26 13:43:41

I don't think he does Wordle tho😉

Marzipan22 Mon 16-Mar-26 13:33:41

I hated that he was obviously 'dipping a toe in the water', as you say Grandmabatty, as if we're idiots.

Redcar Mon 16-Mar-26 13:04:47

Thanks grandmabatty

Grandmabatty Mon 16-Mar-26 12:48:41

GrandMattie, go to the bottom of his message and there should be 3 symbols, a dustbin, an exclamation mark and a deny sign. Choose the exclamation mark and his message comes up with a space for you to comment and a report button

grandMattie Mon 16-Mar-26 12:41:04

I got two as well but can’t figure out how to report.

GrannyIvy Mon 16-Mar-26 12:37:58

I too have received a message from Mr K and have deleted and blocked him

Grandmabatty Mon 16-Mar-26 12:33:59

Redcar, if you go to the bottom of his message, there are options there to stick him in the bin and delete him.
I seem to recall he popped up on the Good Morning thread last week. Obviously sticking a (dirty) toe in the water before sending us all messages

Redcar Mon 16-Mar-26 12:20:42

I heard from mr Kearney this morning too! But I don’t know how to delete and block him, or anyone else for that matter.
litterpicker your potatoes on the window ledge made me giggle!

Usedtobeblonde Mon 16-Mar-26 12:05:28

When folk over the years have reported PM’s from “ weird” people, some obnoxious and others, I have never received one.
I sometimes feel slighted😪

Grandmabatty Mon 16-Mar-26 12:01:09

I got his message too this morning! Deleted and blocked

GrannyGravy13 Mon 16-Mar-26 11:57:41

I have reported and blocked two of his messages this morning.

luluaugust Mon 16-Mar-26 11:55:11

Marzipan I also received this illiterate message.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Mon 16-Mar-26 11:41:33

Grandmabatty

Wasn't me FGT. It was Blue Sapphire. Wish it was me though!

Oops! 😁

EkwaNimitee Mon 16-Mar-26 11:16:00

Marzipan22 I have had the exact same message and blocked it. Yes, it’s an estate agent for you, Jeffrey!

Marzipan22 Mon 16-Mar-26 10:59:07

jeffreykearney re your pm to me, I won't be helping you...

'To Purchase Maisonette In Your Country But I Don't Know Any Agent That Can Help Me Out Get One That Is My Main Aim I Text You & Want Are The Requirements?
I Will Be Expecting Your Feedback'

...so please don't expect any feedback.

Try an estate agent instead.

Good morning, it’s still and dry here in Co Armagh
I’m still drinking my breakfast tea , it gone cold but I’m still absent mindedly sipping it
Reading post on here while taking breakfast is a mistake !
Best wishes to all

HelterSkelter1 Mon 16-Mar-26 10:36:58

I wonder what your potatoes are chatting about Litterpicker??

Litterpicker Mon 16-Mar-26 10:24:02

Good morning from West Sussex. It looks dull and I think rain is forecast. I hope it will stay dry until after my book club as I will be on my bike (a very easy 10 minutes ride). We read The Wrong Sister by Claire Douglas. I can’t think of much to say about it. I found it a bit boring and skipped bits just to find out ‘who did it’.

We are in preparation mode for our next trip to our home in East Lothian. We will be away for nearly a month so I like to leave the house tidy-ish. The garden has to do its own thing. As does the allotment which is mainly fruit trees and bushes and DH’s early potatoes which are chatting on a bedroom windowsill at the moment.

I hope these suffering have a better day and everyone experiences some signs of spring. My tulips are colouring at their tips so I hope to see the full flower before we leave for the north. Will try to attach photo.

Redcar Mon 16-Mar-26 10:18:54

Thank you for my virtual flowers everyone. My DDs brought potted bulbs and lovely hand cream yesterday. I still have some flowers from my birthday last week, but couldn’t resist some red tulips today. I’m about to go to the churchyard to attempt to tastefully arrange more tulips for DH. I’m not a natural flower arranger!

dragonfly I’m sorry you’re still in such pain and hope it improves soon.
grannysomerset I hope you can get a dental appointment very soon.

GrannySomerset Mon 16-Mar-26 09:43:15

Am nursing a painful tooth which the dentist warned me would need to come out. Surgery says they will try to see me this week; explained that I have already taken too many pain killers and need sooner rather than later, so am awaiting a call back. Nothing worse than toothache!

Grandmabatty Mon 16-Mar-26 09:41:04
