Good morning from Torquay where it's quiet and the sky is clear as you can see. So strange to have so much sky to wake up to when it's usually a canopy of trees! It's lovely to be somewhere different for a change. Today I'll just wander around and may go to the model village that's a short bus ride away. Roses I saw your post in the night, am thinking of you.

My poor*Roses*, what a horrible situation. I know you had a niggling feeling of something like that, but hoped you were wrong. All my liv3 and prayers are winging to you. Big hugs too. 💐🌺🌹🪷🌸

Good morning from a grey, dreary Bristol.
I went to bed “late”, so have woken up “late”.
I was at a PCC meeting where we discussed many things, not least the preparation for our vicar’s retirement in October. Also, the very complicated situation of our lack of heating…. I was so wired that it took me ages to settle.
This PCC is amazing, all reports are sent in advance, so everyone knows what we need to know. The meetings tend to be much shorter, about an hour, rather than the endless ones I used to attend in Kent.
FAB cafe this morning, then a residents’ meeting with our temporary manager to find out any progress in things to be fixed. It is one year since we have sent the original complaint letter and there has been very little progress. It beggars belief that we pay so much in maintenance fees yet get so little!
May you all have a good day, all your problems be solved (faster than our!) and metaphorical sunshine ☀️ fill your hearts and homes.
Carpe diem 🦩🌷🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from s somerset, very windy and cold

The wind battered the windows all through the night and it was raining, the weather can turn on a sixpence. I checked my boiler pressure just now and have raised it a bit, the rads did need a fair bit of bleeding after boiler swap

Busy yesterday, I made 6 inner ballast bags, 100 cm long and 24 cm wide. I sewed a dividing line so I would get equal weights at either end. My microtex needle hated the fabric and eventually shattered. At that point I put my glasses on for safety and tried a universal needle, which worked like a dream. I am now waiting for the cordura fabric to arrive, for outer bags. These weights are destined for my shed roof, to help hold the felt down and I am hoping will be permanent, without anxiety over them bursting

Earlier I made 200 capsules of mag glycinate, a pure compound. A boring job but well worth it, I have a filling device

No plans for today, apart from keeping warm. I need to make a good veg soup and will do some more spinning and my kefir needs to be strained and the grains fed

I am watching the clouds, moving very fast and the birds are going at 100 mph, not actual flying, just moving with the air.

Good morning from South Lanarkshire, more rain forecast for today I believe.

Good for you Bella, exercising at this hour., wish I had the discipline to do that.

I think the spring cleaning bug must have hit our town if the number of donations we had yesterday is anything to go by. We were inundated.

I’ve parcels to collect today, I’ve ordered dresses to try on as we’ve been invited to a wedding and I haven’t dressed up in an age. Hopefully there will be one suitable amongst them.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from Malta where a sunny day is forecast with a high of 18°C.

I haven’t slept too well but will get up soon and attempt to find the motivation to do my 30 minutes of aerobics before going for my monthly nail appointment after which I might pop to Lidl for a few bits.

Wishing a good day to all with special thoughts for those with troubles.☀️
