Good morning all, it's 0 ° here in Glasgow, but the sun us shining.

Roses, I hope you do not go to your appointment alone and have told your DH. You will need support. I have been think of you a lot.💐

Today we are off to the park with Babydoll, I am looking forward to seeing her, but can't get my pain levels down, despite maximum doses of painkillers.
There will be a visit to the park café, where I am bound to meet people I know, much to the annoyance of DH. He is not a social person.😉

Yesterday, I went to Silverburn to pick up some parcels and didn't do any shopping, which is unknown! I could hardly walk.
I bumped into two elderly gentlemen of the parish,, where I had to listen to all their complaints. One was complaining that people keep messaging him and he is fed up with it, He drives us had with his pocket calls 😉
To no avail, I tried to tell him, that it is a parish group chat, people are not specifically messaging him. Then he informed me that he only reads my messages, because I am an important member of the parish!🤣
Another two parishioners joined us, I quickly made my apologies and escaped.

I wish you all a pleasant day.

P.S. I hope that was an auto type, Mick. I have been trying to work out, who you are going to see.

Good Morning all from a sunny central south coast. It will be back to darker morning again on Sunday after the clocks spring forward.

Choir went well last night but still with some missing members. It is the worst it has been for regular attendance that I can recall, in my 14 years membership. I was brought up with the understanding that if I joined something, I went to it unless I was bedfast. Like many things, times have changed. Humph! (grumble mode now switched off!)

Glad things are moving now you are in the system Roses and hope the outcome is better than you are fearing. Keep positive!

Kindest thoughts to all our GNs with worries, sadness or struggles and hope the day brings some comfort and ease. sunshine

Good morning everyone from mid Essex, it’s lovely, sunny but frosty at the moment. Yoga yesterday morning was quite challenging and left me with a very achy back and legs. I did a little cleaning in the afternoon and then sat and rested. My back feels a bit better this morning, so I’ll go for my usual walk, then more housework.

ash enjoy your meeting with another Gransnetter.

roses things are certainly moving quickly for you now. Fingers crossed that some treatment will make you more comfortable.

I hope that all those who are in difficulties of any kind find some help today.

Have the best day possible everyone.

ginny Thu 26-Mar-26 07:08:04

Good morning. It’s a little brighter this morning after yesterday’s mix of weather including a hail storm.
Art class this morning where we will be doing some sketching and preparing some of our paintings for a small exhibition tomorrow .
Wishing everyone a good day with a smile along the way.

Gelisajams Thu 26-Mar-26 07:07:03

Good morning Mick and all from a frosty Morecambe Bay. A better day than of late is forecast so hopefully I’ll get my roses planted. An early visit to the woods with Crazy dog then I’m seeing the osteopath at 10. The NHS physio recommended that I saw an osteopath to help with a long standing back problem. I’m seeing some improvement so hopefully the cost is worth it! A visit to a private practitioner does help one to appreciate the NHS with all its faults.
We are planning on taking the little camper out next week so we need to finalise when and where we are going so we can get a campsite booked.
Thinking of all with difficulties, Take care.

GrannyIvy Thu 26-Mar-26 07:03:46

Good morning from a cold 2 degrees but sunny morning.

Roses thinking of you and pleased you do not have to wait too long before being seen. Sometimes it is easier to process it all in your own mind first and know what you are dealing with before sharing with family and friends. Your embroidery is beautiful 💐

Today is Pilates and an Ocado delivery later.

Wishing a good day to everyone 🌸

Good morning everyone from a bright frosty Northampton, frost on the cars and rooftops, and 0°C. It will be a sunny morning, so I will get the towels washed.

A busy morning yesterday, damp-dusted and then hoovered all the bedrooms and then did the stairs. And then the on/off button fell off the Shark, which meant I couldn't switch it off, so ended up removing the battery. I then stuck the button back on with a mixture of blu-tak and duct tape, which seems to work ok.

After lunch, a quiet afternoon; caught up with the newspapers, put the bins out and made chicken soup for dinner - enough left for tonight as well.

I had ordered a new garden brush from Amazon, which I put rogether, but wasn't happy with the bristles which seemed too soft for outdoor use. So repacked it and arranged a return - I just need to drop it off at the post office and they will print a label. I'll have to get DS to take me to the garden centre to choose a new one.

A Sainsbury's delivery later this morning, and I may plant my pansies; I have ordered a bag of compost, so will wait until that arrives.

Wishing all a pleasant day.

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Thu 26-Mar-26 07:02:53

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s sunny but cold - the rooftops are frosted but the sky is a beautiful apricot shade. High of 9°C today but freezing again tonight according to Alexa.

I have a very busy day ahead. A couple of appointments with a couple of social events. I’m off to attend the class assembly for L’il Miss who has a speaking part then I’m taking my stepfather to a routine optician appointment. If he feels stead enough on his pins (walking is becoming problematic now at 93) we will go for a coffee.

Later this afternoon I’m getting the bus over to see married friends. I will feel emotional I know as I’ve not seen them socially for a year owing to our circumstances plus Himself won’t be with us and I know I shall be aware that he’s not sitting with us. I expect a few tears but will rally. This lovely couple have been friends of ours for over 30 years. We used to enjoy holidays with them. Now the dynamic has changed it will seem strange but I trust not awkward. It’s all about navigating this new normal and finding my place within it I suppose.

I’ll be rounding off the day by going to the salon for a French manicure and my nails will be snipped short, just how I like them.

Grandmabatty Thu 26-Mar-26 06:54:17

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently-1° and sunny. So cold though. Bellasnana, enjoy your walk with Milo. Love the nails! Karma be careful up that ladder!
Yesterday I achieved what I set out to. I worked for a while in the school library, processing new books. It was bedlam as school photographs were being taken and they used the library. Then I took stuff, finally, to the charity shop. When I returned home, I filled the boot with more to go. Then did some housework and tidying.
Today I have art class in the afternoon. I hope to get to the charity shop this morning. After that, I'll only have one more load which will need to go elsewhere as its two table lamps and children's stuff.
I'm looking forward to art class to continue the painting I'm doing for my son. I want to clean the glass and windows in the house at some point too. It'll have to be in stages because the front of the house gets the morning sun while the back gets the afternoon sun. Then at the weekend I will reclaim my dining room from the clutter that has been adorning it for months and prepare it for Easter Sunday lunch. Dinner will be chicken and chips. Have a good day all.

Ashcombe Thu 26-Mar-26 06:51:12

Good morning from a bright and sunny Torbay.

Lovely nails, Bellasnana!

Yesterday, at Wednesday Club we reviewed the most recent Toads' production which was Blithe Spirit. We were joined by the director and two of the leading players besides the stage manager so we were treated to some inside stories! Today I’m having my hair cut and coloured then DH and I will take the bus into town to meet up with a Gransnetter. No prizes for guessing who it is!

Thinking of those facing difficulties of any kind with health or relationships. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Good morning from Shropshire.A dry day forecast.

A better day visiting mum yesterday.I wish she was nearer but feel it’s too late at this stage to move her nearer.

A day of admin today😴

Roses I’m glad you don’t have too long to wait for your appointment.Do what is right for you.If you are ok going on your own and that’s best for you then that’s what you should do.💐

Marydoll, I hope you had a better day yesterday and that things are going better for you 💐

Wishing everyone a good day🦩🌻

Ladyleftfieldlover Thu 26-Mar-26 06:39:13

Morning all from a chilly West Oxfordshire. It looks like there is a very light frost.

I have a dental appointment this morning - just a checkup. It is also the monthly book group which if my dentist overruns I will have to miss. Just in case I have emailed my book report to everyone. At some point I need to vote. It is a local election.

I managed to sort out the WI data base yesterday. It took a while as I had to indicate that every member had signed the new form confirming that they were a biological woman.

Have a good day everyone. It feels like spring is taking a day off, but it will be back!🪻

karmalady Thu 26-Mar-26 06:35:00

Good morning from s somerset, a lovely sunny day ahead but cool

I finished 4 long ballast bags and they are in the car as is my ladder, my steady vintage machine has survived the battering from the thick tough fabric. I won`t tidy up yet, not until I have tested the bag layout on the shed roof which will happen on saturday.

Tomato seedlings are up and will be in/out for a while, I started that yesterday, using my mini glass greenhouse which is bolted onto extra slabs.

Today is very flexible, a walk first and I really need to sort my freezer, it is jumbled

Melanie61 Thu 26-Mar-26 06:29:48

Good morning from Sheffield
I’m not going for my walk this morning. I am doing firecracker pulled brisket for the family tonight so I’m going to prepare that this morning.

I am going to see an osteopath at 10 o’clock. I am hoping he can sort out my back. I’m at the stage where I will try anything I haven’t done yet.

It looks nice and sunny outside but it feels cold.
Take care everyone flowers

GrannyGravy13 Thu 26-Mar-26 06:17:43

Good morning from a bright chilly S E Essex.

I couldn’t settle yesterday, DS4 and family were on a 9 hour flight, as soon as he messaged me they had landed I calmed down.

Cleaning fairies 🧚‍♀️🧚 are here first thing, I have a hair appointment (high/low lights and cut) hopefully pop into M & S Food Hall

(((Hugs))) to all in need 🙋‍♀️

RosesandLilac Thu 26-Mar-26 06:13:09

Good morning, it’s still damp here after yesterday’s squally downpours, chilly too.
I’m hoping for some sunshine, I have a trip to the hairdressers first thing, I will need to walk tiddler early.
I had a wander around Lidl yesterday, not the most exciting of excursions, bought a few bits that I’d left off today’s Ocado shop. Very few people there at 9am.
I have an appointment at the Respiratory Clinic on Tuesday, thankfully things seem to be moving quickly now🤞🏻🙏
They’ve suggested I take someone with me but I don’t think I will for various reasons.
I can get there by bus from the outs of the city, so don’t have to worry about the parking at the hospital.
More embroidery later, I’m on a roll!
Lots of trees and shrubs are coming out in bud, my garden is looking lovely and I’m looking forward to enjoying my Shed 😁
Love and best wishes to you all x
🌹

GillyMo Thu 26-Mar-26 06:11:43

Good morning from Kent where it is cool and sunny.

Yesterday the only time I ventured outside was to walk the dog. It was very chilly.

Today's plan is to sew some cosmos seeds.

Lovely colour for your nail bellasnana.

Have a happy day, all.

baubles Thu 26-Mar-26 06:10:27

Good morning from cool and dry South Lanarkshire.

Yesterday was a mix of dog walking and cleaning. Today I’ll do more of the same. Exciting life. grin

DH is doing well but the discomfort is worse at night so he isn’t sleeping more than a couple of hours at a time.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Greyduster Thu 26-Mar-26 06:07:10

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It’s cold but clear in South Yorkshire and we are promised a sunny day. The wind seems to have dropped too, thank goodness. I had a lot of problems with my internet connection yesterday - a lot of my apps wouldn’t open. It still seems ‘hung over’ this morning. I may have to ring the service provider if it doesn’t sort itself out. Technology is wonderful - except when it doesn’t work!

Walking group this morning, then lunch with DD.

Have the best day you can, folks.

grandMattie Thu 26-Mar-26 05:58:30

Love the tulips, bellas. Your nail person must love you and spend time thinking up new patterns!

Bellasnana Thu 26-Mar-26 05:27:34

Good morning from Malta where a cloudy, windy day is forecast with a high of 15°C and rain this afternoon.

Mick I’m confused.🤔 I thought seismologists had something to do with earthquakes!😅

Had my nails done yesterday which cheered me up a bit, then did a quick trip to Eurospin and Lidl.

I’ve got DD3’s little Milo dog today so will hopefully get him out for a walk before the promised rain starts.

I’m hoping the boys will visit after school.

Wishing you all a good day. Always thinking of our friends facing challenges of one kind or another.☀️

grandMattie Thu 26-Mar-26 05:24:58

Good morning from a dawning Bristol. Yesterday was beautifully sunny but I was indoors for most of it, having the FAB cafe a.m., and a meeting p.m. the wind was fierce though.
I’m off to London very soon for an exhibition at the Tate; I shan’t be home until late.
Hugs to the sad and unwell. Carpe diem 🫂🌺❤️🦩🦩🦩🦩

Michael12 Thu 26-Mar-26 05:10:15
