You are determined to find fault in what seemed for most people I spoke to an enjoyable and purposeful day.

The memory will stay with me as I expect it does for anyone who has ever taken part in any protest; that they got off their backsides and made a stand, whether it was against a war, apartheid, nuclear weapons or the poll tax.

Seems to me the plethora of banners reinforced that fact that this is an alliance of people from all walks of life coming together with a common aim. That's the point.

Most reform voters have no idea what he says and don't care, they just want migration to stop, they hate the EU and Starmer.
Xenophobia if you like, don't expect any logic or reason it's exactly the same as the Brexit vote, many agree with Rupert Lowe, he makes Farage look a moderate.

I read an article by a woman, printed in the Daily Mail, giving an account of her experiences of living near a migrant hotel. This was not an account of a little girl lost, how sweet.

I would not dream of using AI to decide on the tone of a post.

There was nothing particularly sweet about an unaccompanied child in pyjamas running around a busy street. Many children housed in such places are victims of abuse or simply "disappear" They are prevented from having an education. Just as families do make some tenuous links with the outside world, they are moved out of the area.

I wish people would show a shred of compassion.

Or are you saying we may not disagree with content or presentation - or even demonstrate the bias or untruth in a post? If you write from a bias, presenting it as a truth you are surely going to expect disagreement. Isn't that the point of some people's posts? Inflammatory rhetoric is likely to start fires. The person using it needs to take into account their lack of control of any such "fire" before going down that route.

A lot makes me sad about what is happening to the country, it was so sad to read about the WW2 veteran who said what was the sacrifice for, given the state of the UK. That made me feel really sad.
