I cant do...

I can’t sit cross legged never could. Can’t sing, can’t do math, I cannot put a zip in clothes without messing it up and can’t make bread.

I can’t swim in the deep end,don’t like swimming, but I have tried at so many things like sewing ,knitting ,pottery ,drawing ,painting and I have become quite good at some of them.Really chuffed if I can paint a picture and frame it.My pottery makes are ok but wouldn’t win any prizes but I get so much joy from trying.At nearly 80,I will carry on trying …I wish people wouldn’t say that they can’t draw.Just have a go, nobody is watching...

No good at any sport.
No artistic talent at all.
I can knit but not crochet, I can sew buttons on but not shorten a hem. I can’t swim as I am terrified of water.
I can cook although now at 88 I choose not to do much but I can still produce a really good roast dinner.
I can entertain young children for ages , they all seem to like me.
I think I am still good company as people like to visit me or have me visit them.
We can’t win them all.
I can no longer drive but I was a terrible driver when I could, I did everyone a favour when I gave up.

I'm good at most sports that I've tried but I am totally useless at swimming, all splash and no dash! Water is just not my thing!

I can’t crochet despite those who can having tried to teach me - I am, apparently, unteachable. I can knit, though.

I can’t sing - my voice is like gravel in a bucket.

No good at DiY but was always able to tell DH exactly how to do it😬!

I have no talent for interior decorating or soft furnishings. A cushion is a cushion is a cushion🤷‍♀️.

I can’t drive on motorways - terrified, even as a passenger.

I regret all the things I used to do but no longer can: Tie my own fishing flies - fingers don’t work well enough now.
Walk rough country without having to worry about falling over. Climb a stile; jump a stream.
Ride a bicycle.

I can't sew. I can't bake a decent Christmas cake. I can't play a musical instrument of any kind.
I can crochet very well although my knitting leaves a lot to be desired.
I can sing and have been in many choirs.
I can drive, ride a bike, paint a wall but not a picture.
All in all I am content with what I can and can't do.

I have done knitting, sewing, crocheting, baking and gardening in my time but not often nor with much enthusiasm and not at all for the last 40+ years! Part of the reason for this was the pressure of teaching and having a family.

I can play the piano, sing, act (amdram) and enjoy debating, especially in committee work. My disinclination to play the domestic goddess has increased in retirement so having a cleaner is essential.

I can sew, embroider and knit. I can cook and bake.

I can't paint either a room or a picture to save my life - I have trouble drawing a stick man. I can't crochet.

I'm the kind of girl who will hammer the nail into my foot and saw my finger off.

Oh, and I'm not that great at choosing men - well I can choose them - but they're not great men

I can’t draw, and I would so like to be able to.

On the other hand, most things I can’t do are things I have chosen not to do. I can’t swim because I chose not to have lessons. I can’t ride a bike because I don’t want to. I can’t sew because it bores me to pieces.

I can't walk much, nor run at all or even dance now sadly. I can't sing, my voice just squeaks. I can't cook very well, although have a few well-used recipes. I can't play piano well, but can read some music up to an entry standard. BUT there are loads of things I can do! I can write, I can ride, I can swim, I can crochet, I can sew, I can listen, I can do yoga and I can keep on trying to learn things, so that I CAN do them.

I can't play a musical instrument or ride a horse but I am excellent at finding excuses for not doing things I should be doing.

I can't sing either - but do love to.
Years ago I had lessons for about 3 years. I could eventually hold a tune but never much more.

My singing teacher said she "felt bad" taking money off me "for just helping me master more at the same level".
She was SO lovely.

I stopped and now am back to square one!

I can’t dive, even tho I swim very well. I can’t crochet either.
