I have had a very difficult last two years. Health problems. Cold house , just keeping the human warm and many other bugbears, so I just wanted to congratulate all of you who have
stoically pushed on.
Seeing others getting by always gives me a fraction more hope that it isnt all a downhill slide.
At last we have a bit of warmer weather. That alone is a great bonus that opens out the world a little more. I hope we sail into happier times ahead!

Well done, Coffeedrinkerthinker. Stoicism is an often ignored quality. I hope your next two years, and onwards, are much better. Sometimes there is nothing else to do but just plod on regardless.
Brilliant sunshine here today, and hopefully everywhere.
And the world has just stepped back from the brink, - probably.

You have clearly just kept on keeping on under very difficult circumstances. Only you know exactly how difficult.

You must be a very strong, caring person to have come through and to have the breadth of vision to appreciate how others have come through their various struggles.

People like you are the backbone of civilised society. I hope the future is easier for you.thanks

Was it Churchill who said we all must 'Keep buggering on'! Looks like most of just do.

It was Churchill and for so many of us it’s the only option. As someone said upthread stoicism is a much overlooked virtue.

My motto 😅😅 I have heart disrase and diabetes, but I also believe that if you wake up in the morning you might as well get up and get on with it, keep buggering on indeed 😅

Bless you. Hope the next year is a good one.

I had a nasty fall 2 years ago, and I am gradually getting better. Feeling really much better now the sun is out and I can get into the garden.
I am fortunate that I live in a low rainfall area.

It’s just about 2.45 am and again the pain has woken me up but I’m laying here reading all the posts and realising there’s a whole world of people out there with similar issues. So hello to you all and thanks for your company .

Well done Coffeedrinking thinker 💐💐
I agree completely that one foot in front of the other is the only way forwards, with eyes on a hopefully better horizon.
Is lighter in the mornings and at night, my arthritis is in check for now and am grateful every day that my DH is with me, a proud survivor of a massive stroke who has bravely battled to get where he is now, with my care and his efforts we are making each day count.
