Good morning from s somerset, cloudy and much cooler today, normal for early april

Gosh I was tired by 2 yesterday, I had spent the whole morning sowing seeds and that meant lifting and carrying, also two walks into town. The walking into town reminds me very much of being a child, it is so close and handy. Anyway, I am sorted for now and on schedule for vegetable seed sowing

Today I need to do a job at the allotment and will take the car as I have items to transport that cannot be taken on my bike

I went to bed too early and am now up too early, I need to fix that for tonight

Good morning from Kent where it is ten degrees and forecast to be over twenty degrees this afternoon.

I took the opportunity of warm weather yesterday to paint a fence. I am very methodical when painting, it's like a meditative process for me.

Today's main plan is to sit in the garden and read!

Hope everyone has some sunny weather today.

Good morning from Malta where the forecast predicts a day with high clouds and a high of 27°C.

Today our twins turn 4! Can’t believe how quickly they have grown from two tiny little premature scraps to the happy, lively little lads they are now. Party this afternoon will be a low-key affair in a woodland area of one of the bigger play parks with a few of their little pals.

They came over yesterday and stayed a while before going strawberry picking. I had Milo dog who behaved himself very well, and later I was rewarded with a punnet of delicious strawberries picked by my two little treasures.

I did a bit of furniture shifting in what will now be the boys’ playroom. It’s frustrating struggling with things that used to come so easily, but I managed eventually.

Today I need to go out before the tennis starts and I hope I manage to watch Alcaraz before I have to go to the party!

Hoping you all have a good day, I think the weather in UK is hotter than here so enjoy!☀️

Good morning from a dry Bristol. What a lovely day we had yesterday! I sat outside for a bit, in a T-shirt, chatting to my neighbours. A first for this year.
The FAB cafe was very quiet, with only about 14 people attending; I suppose many are looking after DGC or seeing family. Lots of cake left over!
In the afternoon, I had my library book group. We were 6; two of us refused to read the book, one had read the whole thing, two had read the first 100 or so pages and one was slowly plugging his way through but constantly branching off to look at maps, to check on events, etc.
The two salient points were the racism and the horrors of civil war. Unsurprisingly, the meeting didn’t last long. My blind friend told me that sh3 really enjoyed my recommendations as they were some of the most interesting books she’d read.
Today, t’ai chi then a neighbour, recently widowed, has invited our “block” of four to tea. He is very sweet, I hope he hasn’t put himself out too much. He’d barely made a cup of tea before his DW died, and is now learning to fend for himself, brave man.
Best wishes 🌷💐to all on here, where happy or sad, well or poorly.
