Yes, with the Halifax part of the Lloyds group. And my credit card has changed from mastercard to Visa.
Have received it and it works!

When this change to Visa on Credit Cards happens and a new Card Number is issued will this affect using 'Google Pay' on Mobile Phones?

Just checked my old messages - my old Halifax Clarity Mastercard (credit card) will cease on 26/4, but I’ve been in receipt of the replacement Visa card for 2/3 weeks.
However, the debit card for my current account has always been Visa.

I’m with the Lloyds and the Halifax……heard nothing about any changes. But I don’t think there’s any need to panic about DD or SO as these are nothing to do with the 16 digit number as stated upthread.

Sorry just checked mine. My Debit Card is Visa but Credit Card is Mastercard. Don't know if this will affect Mobile Banking. Will call in Bank to find out but years ago when something went wrong with my Credit Card we were told that my nearest Lloyds Bank does not deal with Credit Card queries and had to contact somewhere else!

I have been with Lloyds since I was transferred to them from TSB.
I have just checked my Debit card and it is with Visa.
Which card are we talking about?

Yes.. We got notification. They are going to be pulling Mastercard and go just Visa, so everyone will get Visa cards soon.

Should add that I’ve already had my new Visa Clarity card for a few weeks now.

It’s genuine. There was a short thread yesterday about it, plus the new click to pay Lloyds/HBoS are bringing in.

FWIW Wazzam I've just googled this and it is what Lloyds are doing.

Yes, I would call them but have a Speech Impediment and find it difficult to use the phone. My wife and I will just have to travel quite a few miles to the nearest Bank and speak to them in person.

Halifax (part of Lloyds) has changed its clarity credit card from Mastercard to visa.

To pay off your monthly credit card bill has been sorted by them, nothing for customer to do.

Customers were informed by letter about all the changes, and kept updated.

I’m with Lloyds and have heard nothing. Why don’t you just call them.

Your direct debits and standing orders use the bank sort code and your account number not the 16 digit number on your debit card so these will remain unchanged

Just a question.
Has anybody else had an E-Mail purporting to be from Lloyds Bank stating that their Banking cards are changing from Mastercard to Visa? I don't know about anybody else but this is going to cause a lot of issues for me as I pay most of my Bills online by Direct Debit/Standing order and will have to change all the details as apparently they are issuing new cards with different card numbers.
Anyone else heard about this?
