We are driving up to Kew this morning to celebrate granddaughter’s 10th birthday. Hopefully we will be having a picnic in Kew Gardens. Apart from a bag of presents we also have their Easter goodies! We didn’t get to see them at Easter as they went to their place in Scotland.

Good morning all from Morecambe Bay where it is cloudy and dry. It is forecast to stay like that for much of the day. I intend to do some work in a clients garden and also spend an hour or so on the Church garden. I’m pretty much on top of my own garden after it was neglected last year when I lost my gardening mojo when old rotting sleepers had to be replaced.
I have hopefully attached a photo of one of my favourite plants Paeonia mlokosewitschii, better known as Molly the witch. I’ve had it through five house moves but it seems particularly happy here. Thinking of all with ill health and problems. Take care.

The film last night was pretty to watch, beautiful fashions and locations but not as funny as the original Devil Wears Prada. DD had brought a fleecy throw to put over her as she said she’s always cold in the cinema.

For months DH has been trying to buy a rose bush which bears the name of our nephew who died nine months ago. It came back into stock on Friday and was delivered to us yesterday. DH had a pot ready and today we will take it to my brother and sister in law.

Morning Mick, morning All from a cloudy, damp corner of Somerset. Showers forecast all day.

A very slow start yesterday saw me battling paperwork in the afternoon while Mr C slept. Our long day on Saturday wore us both out.

Ironing for me this morning, may finish the filing or may not. We’re both not as energised as we’d like to be, gently does it for now. Suspect surgery staff were right on Friday when I was told ‘you’ve got the virus, it takes it out of you’. Which virus? Who knows!

My younger daughter returned late last night from her few days helping at the camps in Calais.I am glad she is home safely but the reality of how people live is shocking and heartbreaking.

No plans here today just go with the flow.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from an overcast South Yorkahire. I had a minor (well more like a major) panic this morning when my iPad would not open up. Cue much faffing about. I am supposed to be taking and recording my BP about now. I don’t think so - not yet! How have we let ourselves be so dependant on these things?

Yesterday it drizzled constantly which gave me an opportunity to give my bathroom a top to bottom clean and do some ironing. DD and SiL called unexpectedly which was nice. We are all going to Lincoln today, taking GS, who has been home for the weekend, back to uni. We will walk up the Foss Way Canal Trail to a nice pub to have lunch. I shall be proper tired when I get home this evening.

I had a productive day yesterday. A lovely little settee was purchased from IKEA . It’s surprisingly comfy for very little money. Just have to construct it now although Ikea products are so easy to put together these days. Unlike their early days when it never quite fitted together
DH has seen a bit of guttering has come adrift so that needs sorting.
I don’t think we will have time for a bike ride

Putting my boho Cardigan together is not quite as difficult as I thought it would be, it’s tricky and I have to concentrate but I’m pleased with how it’s turning out

Good morning from a grey .bank holiday Bristol. May 4th be with you!
I’ve only just woken up having had a rubbish night again. Thus jab has thrown me completely.
Yesterday was quiet, the only thing I did was make myself a bucket hat. I seem to have mislaid mine. It only 90 minutes, once I found my pattern.
Itwas the 3rd anniversary of my move here, yesterday. Feels longer.
DD has invited me to join them visiting the American museum in Bath. 🛁 I don’t think the girls will be joining us.
I’m not sure if it’s not to leave me along on Philip’s birthday - he would have been 44, my lovely boy. Of course, I’m sad, but my grief is private. DD is much closer to her elder brother.
If the weather holds, I may redo my pots and put in my tomato plants.

Good morning from the River Rhine where we’re between Rudësheim and Speyer on a beautiful sunny morning.

Yesterday we sailed through the Rhine Gorge and saw the mermaid on Lorelei Rock, infamous for luring mariners to their doom!

Later, having moored in Rudësheim, we visited Siegfried’s Mechanical Instrument Museum where we were impressed by the French guide who spoke to us in English and was most engaging.

Thoughts with all who are unwell, especially RosesandLilac. 💐

Good morning from Malta where the weather forecast predicts a similar day to yesterday, sunny and 21°C.

I didn’t get to Mass yesterday as DD3 asked me to have the boys so she could sort out their clothes in peace! They arrived early and we had a lovely time together before they both fell asleep on me and were picked up by their parents at 2.30.

I had a long FaceTime chat with my pal in Leicester after which it was time for the tennis. I don’t think I have ever seen a Men’s Final over so quickly! It only took 57 minutes for Sinner to demolish Zverev.

Today I’m going to pick up my friends and take them to the south of the island. They go back to Bridlington tomorrow.

I’ve got some ironing to do at some stage but it’s not urgent.

Watched the ⚽️ match yesterday, with the family. No prizes for guessing who the boys supported.
