Has anyone got a really good lemon zester?

I have a microplane one. It’s very sharp still, and I’ve had it years, so although they are expensive, I feel it has been a good buy.

Another for tkmaxx. Plenty of choice there.

My Oxo Good Grips yesterday also became blunt which was annoying because it was quite expensive. I went into TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago and they had a good selection from £4.99 up to £15.99. I bought a Joseph Joseph one for £10.99 and it's pretty good with different grades on the one plane. If you have a TK Maxx near you, maybe worth having a look.

Maybe you need a microplane zester?
I was given one of these years ago but didnt really use it. I tend to do a lot of lemons or limes or whatever at once and I suppose I find the box grater easier.

I think most chefs would use a microplane type.

Microplane make an excellent one. Had mine over ten years.

I use the one I think is meant for parmesan cheese, and it works really well if you like your zest really fine.

I use the one on the side of my cheese grater.
I do have a small one but the bigger grater is best.

I used to use the box grater (still have one) but hate it for lemons or oranges!

I suppose it also depends how you like your zest - as in what type you want.
