There will be no football watched in this house. Neither of us are in the slightest bit interested. Of course the tv schedules for the next month or so will go to pot in order to prioritise the “beautiful game” 🤨.
I will find plenty of other things to do, however.

Well we don’t all pay for other services Terribull some of us rely on mainstream tv
No I don’t watch sport much at all and get fed up how they take regular programmes off to accommodate sport why not have a dedicated channel

I don't own a TV and rarely watch anything online so football coverage will have no effect on my day to day activities. Happily, my SO isn't a fan, either so the only change in our habits may be that we stay out of pubs and bars where it's showing on TV.
I may also turn off the radio more often if there is discussion of football on non-sport programmes.
Thank goodness for podcasts, Spotify and Kindle!

Me! I’d sooner stuck pins in my eyes than watch football!

Sorry to address the original post, just carry on as if it isn't happening and now we've got streaming services not in thrall to the BBC.

Oh God no! I hate football, much to the annoyance of my family. Everytime they try to give me a nugget of information I'm prone to say "you're mistaking me for someone who gives a damn"

Me! TBH I loathe football.

Even my football supporting sons and grandsons don't seem that interested. I've heard all the hotels will be half empty too so not as many going as expected.
I have no interest either.

* I won’t!

Have any non fans got anything planned for the six weeks the World Cup will be on? I'm looking through the streaming services and Youtube for old dramas to watch and, if the weather is nice, will be making full advantage of this. Only being in the office two days a week as well means I can avoid people talking about footballers I've never heard of.
