Anika Nilles is a powerhouse. I saw her play at the Jeff Beck tribute gig at The Royal Albert Hall a couple of years ago. Very impressive indeed.
I’ll take a look at the Rush recordings on YouTube.

Rush were my late husband's favourite band. He went to many concerts, mostly in the U.S.
I'm glad that they are now giving you so much pleasure. Although I appreciate their skills, I never connected with their music.
Our love of rock was something that bonded us together, and we loved to go to concerts and festivals.
When my husband died, he was laid to rest wearing jeans and his favourite Rush tee-shirt. I don't know how folks who went to say goodbye at the chapel of rest felt about that. I do know that he would have appreciated my choice.

Is anyone else loving the YouTube footage of the Rush tour which kicked off in Los Angeles a couple of days ago with the amazing Anika Nilles on drums? I'm late to the party - DH has always liked them but it's only recently I have been listening to his LPs. We are both too old now for the mosh pit and would probably never have got tickets anyway (he saw them live in the early 80s) but bloody hell the woman can play, and all the fans have just taken her to their hearts. It's wonderful to see ♥
