Recommendations for fans please

I've just bought the JL 42" tower fan for my bedroom, it has a remote control. It's fierce but quiet. I also have floor fans, like many gyms have, they are squat and sturdy and very strong, I'm prefer them to pedestal fans. I've got fans in every room, I'm a bit of an addict.

I bought the Meaco 1056 from John Lewis 5 years ago and have used it ever since. Expensive (I paid £99, now £100) but very good.

We bought the Lidl Dyson style tower fan after the last heatwave. It is very good; they had sold out when we went back for a second one the next day, but had some in stock again last week.
It is quiet, looks nice and the air feels really cool. Excellent value at £59.

Older son managed to get me a Dyson dupe fan from the Lidl near to them today and I’m just trying it out. Seems good!

The Lidl one looks similar to the Dyson.

I bought these last year and have been very pleased with them.
They're compact but powerful.

I have three Netta fans recommended to me by sadly missed GNer.
The 42 inch column one is excellent for the price but in common with all fans moves the air round in very high temperatures, however I am happy with it.
£60 from Amazon.

Dyson dupe sold out in our local Lidl - daughter’s just checked for me, as she lives nearby.

We were looking at that one in store last week. With the miserable weather I dithered but now ….

Do remember that all a fan (even the best ones) can do is to blow the air around. And, that definitely has a good place in our homes. However, if you are looking for something to 'cool' the air then you need to look at those that have some sort of reservoir for cold water and ice blocks so that it blows out cold air.
For several years I had a tall NETTA tower fan, which worked brilliantly in my Living Room and had a remote control. After lots of use that eventually died and I replaced it with a tall EZIFY tower fan with very similar facilities. I also like the fact that even when this is not in use it shows the temperature in my room.
I have not found a really good cooler fan. Have one, but do not find it very effective. Just as effectiv for me is to put a bowl of iced water on a low stool in front of my large tower fan.

It has a remote, small footprint, lots or easy to use options.
Quiet.
