None of us are perfect. I make spelling and grammar mistakes just like many others and I’d never pull anyone up on it!!

Some come on GN to offload, seek support, share tips/ideas/information……..who are we to ridicule or check for mistakes? Those who do should wind in their necks and contemplate that everyone has something going on in their lives.
Please be kind……and a little more tolerant.
And the hot weather does drain me but adequate hydration is important………feeling groggy???? Go and have some water 👍

I only noticed mine, when hubby said, was I growing mine for Movember!
I use those long blades with oil & ‘derma plane’ once a month. Honestly it doesn’t grow back thicker.

Yes, it is nice when people recognise that there is a human being behind the comment. Often one is so keen to post, that you do not check the lexical items, grammar etc and off it goes with mistake....I don't like it when people put other people down and present themselves as being better 'heducated' or authoritative, or use rhetorical questions in a passive-aggressive way to put the other post down. It actually shows 'hignorance' and a flawlessly classy person would let go.

I have to admit to being more than a little short tempered when I took my early morning cuppa into the sitting room (the coolest room until midday) and saw a large painting balancing on the back of the sofa!
The heat has obviously bu****ed up the command strips!!

No damage but another niggle to add to the list as I won’t be able to get it back up on my own. 😫

I'm usually quite even-tempered, but I have to admit this wave is making me grumpy, especially when the ratbag stops me sleeping, gives me thumping headaches and makes my menopause worse!

Rather more of a GOB (Grumpy Old Bag) than usual, do you mean?

I’m not short tempered but my hair is a frizzy mess and there’s no point in wearing make up.

My plants in the garden do get short tempered if not watered enough!

No I just head to the local swimming pool, but so do several hundred others!

I have never been a sun worshipper but equally I don't like wet cold weather.
Weather does not make me grumpy but some times people do.

No grumpier than usual! But it does give me an excuse to sit in the garden with a glass of something chilled and ignore the housework. Although I don't envy those of you in the south experiencing the violent storms. I'm in the Scottish Borders where the heat is just about bearable as long as you don't have to work in it.

Regarding literacy skills, it’s really rude to draw attention to any posters who make errors.

I once posted here under a previous name, at the time I was going through a breakdown
I came on to try and get some normality back in my life.
I made some spelling mistakes and didn't punctuate correctly, the pedants were on it immediately, I was ridiculed.

The hurt and damage stayed with me for a long time.

I would love to be as eloquent with my writing as some of the others on here, but due to my dyslexia, I will be the first to admit I struggle with grammar.
Five years ago I would not have had the confidence to write on a site like this. I do try!

My aches and pains are really bad, I'm not sure if its the weather, but I can barely walk.

I like warm sunny weather, it cheers me up and my aches and pains seem to ease. What I don't like is this very hot, oppressive weather because as soon as I walk around the house, I become a hot, red faced, perspiring mess and feel generally CRANKY.

Yes, I’m more grumpy with the hot weather …. and with the sassy teenage grandchildren who I seem to constantly embarrass, the little ones who trash the house, the adult children who never offer to host at their house, my grumpy husband who never listens properly to what I’m saying, my friend for not phoning me when I always phone her …….. ooo, that was cathartic, feeling better now☺️😂

I'm always a grumpy old ratbag. Why would warm weather make a difference?

I probably would be a lot shirtier if I had had to drive to work, queue for a parking spot and then work all day. Hooray for retirement. I can just work on keeping us cool as poss. The supermarket was blissfully cool at 8.00. Staff pleasant and I walked home on the shady side of the high street. We have a portable air con unit in one room which is nice and cool now. All helps me to keep cheerful.

I haven't noticed any change in my temperament as the temperature rises.

That may change if I'm rubbed up the wrong way 😁

It's internet etiquette across the board not to pick on someone's spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.
People need to haul themselves into this century since etiqeutte is so very important to them.
(Only "some people", of course)
