Tuliptree

A very thin Indian cotton print dress bought in a French supermarket 30 years ago for 49 francs

That sounds nice. I absolutely love Indian cotton dresses.

Jeans, socks, boots, jumper and a cardigan and I’m hugging the fire . That’s South Australia for you 😃

Linen trousers, an ancient long sleeved, baggy Hawkshead shirt and my Tilley hat. Just the ticket. No shade in my garden now. No shade anywhere!

Midi length loose cotton dress. Reasonably smart as decided to go out for lunch. Fed up of salads but don’t want to cook hence that decision.

I did have a dress and knickers on!

Pittcity Thu 25-Jun-26 11:48:12

I'm not wearing a bra....even went to Lidl without one!

A rare event, - I am actually wearing a dress. Black and white cotton, just below the knee.

BoggledMind Thu 25-Jun-26 11:46:15

Lightweight shorts, sandals (no socks!) and a damp face towel on my (bald) head. I probably look a sight but I don't care. I'm reasonably cool.

Visgir1 Thu 25-Jun-26 11:42:43

Shorts, and Bikini top today.
I'm more concerned about what I'm going to wear tomorrow as I'm on a early morning flight to the South of France tomorrow.

A long, loose cotton dress, mid calf length and sleeves just below the elbow.
I bought 2 of them during a heatwave several years ago. Pure cotton, a sort of large seersucker material, and best of all, they don’t need ironing - I just hang them up.

Only complaint is no pockets!
They weren’t cheap but have been a very good ‘hot weather’ buy for at least 5 years now.

Linen top and cotton shorts, just played tennis!
Loose cotton dress now, later to go out a more presentable cotton dress.

MartavTaurus Thu 25-Jun-26 11:00:20

Well I had to put my shorts on to go to the market at 9 am, but I'm now in knickers and t shirt.
36 degrees and rising.

A maxi dress (purchased in Spain) with a bikini underneath.

(I shall be in the spa with GC this afternoon)

Aveline Thu 25-Jun-26 10:51:50

A huge cotton dress bought years ago from M&S which DH vetoed. I just don't care any more.

Rosie51 Thu 25-Jun-26 10:48:18

Cossy

Cabbie21

Loose cotton top, loose cotton trousers.
The only problem is I shall need to do some ironing as I have run out of cotton items, unless I just wear them creased.

Far too hot to iron!!

It is but I still do it! I just don't feel right putting creased clothing on even though I know it will crease with wear, because that's a different type of creasing 😂

Say it quietly but I might not iron the bedlinen this time 😉

hollysteers Thu 25-Jun-26 10:48:15

And no knickers

hollysteers Thu 25-Jun-26 10:47:55

Long cotton kaftan from Morocco👍

dragonfly46 Thu 25-Jun-26 10:45:12
