It’s kind of fun, but with a chilling element!

Bit like reading or watching a horror film!

Jeepers! What is there to stop them garnering and repeating personal information like where we live, whether or not alone, nos of children and grandchildren etc that’s not so funny.

I’m afraid that horse has bolted šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø Every detail of you is in the cloud. From your date of birth to the last time you visited your doctor and for what reason. The last time you used your club card and what you purchased.

MissAdventure

I don't recognise myself.
I'd give mother Theresa a good run for her money!

Well done!

Cossy Thu 25-Jun-26 21:55:48

I love this thread, what a giggle, sadly I seem extremely boring:-

That's what posters repeatedly warn people about. We should all be careful not to be identifiable, as we don't know who is reading, and our posts can end up anywhere.

winterwhite Thu 25-Jun-26 21:19:39

Oh thank you MissA, not that I recognise myself in any of that. Perwhaps I’m more like a dwarf hamster after all.

Marydoll Thu 25-Jun-26 20:30:37

Oh this is fun!

I was dreading trying it, but of course, after reading the posts, I couldn't help myself! 🤣

Nell82 Thu 25-Jun-26 20:29:09

I've just been on ChatGP. How do I get it to say nice things about me?

Maybe it's fed up with my endless enquiries about replacing leylandii since I had mine obliterated yesterday hmm

There's more, if you want it?

winterwhite Thu 25-Jun-26 20:13:13

I have evidently made no impact at all over 10 years. I’m just told that winterwhite is a popular species of dwarf hamster. ā˜¹ļøšŸ˜‚

Perhaps you need to have AI mode or something on your Google. I'm no expert ...😊

Shinamae

Well, I must be doing it wrong because I’ve tried to do it twice my name shinamae+gransnet And all I get is threads from various years..šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

That made me laugh doodledog.

I treat it like a first year studentšŸ˜‰

keepcalmandcavachon Thu 25-Jun-26 19:59:52

Mine mentioned warm thoughts! Think all of us have been thinking of nothing but warm, hot, boiling, baking & absolutely scorching thoughts!

Ask it to support what it is saying. Mine apologised a couple of times for misinformation, and was more accurate afterwards

MissAdventure Thu 25-Jun-26 19:48:48

Galaxy

It us a bit weird, it doesn't seem to reflect our themes of posting, if you asked me the first thing that came to mind about Iam64 it would be safeguarding, and mine wouldn't really be youth unemployment.

Mine does.
The kevel of information about ne is unsettling, since I'm sure there are things ive not posted about in detail.

Maggiemaybe Thu 25-Jun-26 19:41:30

Thanks for the thread, Retread, this is fun! I’ve done it 3 times with different results. Apparently I’m long-standing and very active and like giving pragmatic advice (a bit bossy then). Other members associate my name with a Rod Stewart hit and I have ā€œa massive archive of threadsā€. For some reason AI thinks I have a particular interest in smart bathroom scales and the shingles vaccine. grin
