If it suits you, and you feel good in it, wear it.
It's rather unkind to make rude comments about a friend's choice of clothing.
I think the jumpsuit looks great.. as I am not very tall I would have a problem trying to find one to fit. That's a shame .
I love Kit and Kaboodle and hope they are not stopping .No doubt someone on here would say they are not suitable for small ladies in their late 80s Blow that I have my eye on a dress .

Agree with you 100% westendgirl. What is suitable is what you feel good in! I’m sure you’ll look, and feel, great in your K and K dress! 😊

I don’t wear anything that shows the tops of my arms so this wouldn’t be for me

I am flat chested🤪

I wore a jumpsuit last night to a gig but it is going to charity! Using the loo was a nightmare !! This one looks easier to handle !!!

My friend wears a jumpsuit, not this one, and to me she resembles Andy Pandy in it.

Exactly Calendargirl or a Kids TV presenter.

Entirely my opinion I hasten to add.

Mountain Warehouse - which i discovered in the 1990s was a clearance outlet selling "technical" outdoor brands (like Karrimor / Peter storm).

It wouldn't occur to me to look there for ordinary clothes!

Sweeping statements about women over 50 wearing jump suits are nonsense. It depends on the woman and the jumpsuit.

I bought a lovely floral jump suit in, of all places, Mountain Warehouse, it is more feminine and relaxed than this one, uite loose, with a draped bodice, cap sleeves and a tie belt. I have seen other women wearing it of all ages and it looks vey nice and uite elegant.

This one here is more sporty - and I would never wear black, but that is a uestion of personal taste.

Which is more or less what I said. Few women over 50 look good in jumpsuits unless they are thin and flat chested.

It's the inconvenience of the loo aspect that puts me off jumpsuits completely.

Oh OK.
There's nearly 200 ordinary dresses on their website and they have racks in store. Up to £100.

Why Mountain Warehouse OF ALL PLACES?
They have some nice ladies clothing.

I do not automatically think Mountain Warehouse when I think ordinary clothes. I think outdoor and activity wear.

I have been out shopping this morning wearing said jump suit and 2 people told me how nice my jump suit is.

No I'm too short for jumpsuits - 5ft 1in - look as though I'm standing in a hole.

HelterSkelter1 Wed 01-Jul-26 07:50:16

How funny. I saw it as sage green. But I see now it's charcoal.
At 77 I would wear that except frequent loo trips would prove a pain for me. I had a similar one in olive green when 35 and loved it.

I like White Stuff stuff OP. Hope you find one there. I bought a charity shop White Stuff cotton blouse recently and have lived in it.

Thanks for all the helpful comments. My daughter says they have something similar in White Stuff near her, so I’ll look in there tomorrow when I go to see her.

I have bought things from this company and liked them- but not recently.

NotSpaghetti Tue 30-Jun-26 23:00:42

I read they were bankrupt but when they went into administration, the company's intellectual property—which specifically includes the brand name, the website, and the customer mailing list—was sold off to a completely separate third-party buyer.

Castle25 Tue 30-Jun-26 22:40:08

Ps I’m still receiving emails from the company

Castle25 Tue 30-Jun-26 22:38:20

They’re still advertising on social media. I bought a dress this winter which was the same size range. It was very flattering and like you am a 14. The first dress was damaged but the customer service was excellent and a replacement was sent quickly. It’s a shame if they’ve closed as I would definitely buy again

Primrose53 Tue 30-Jun-26 22:37:30

I think few women over 50 look good in a jumpsuit. You need to be very slim and flat chested to carry it off. A tight fitting jumpsuit looks dreadful on a voluptuous lady.

petra Tue 30-Jun-26 22:09:52

I’m not sure of the date of this article but it says the company have gone into liquidation.

That is lovely, but quite a size range. Never bought anything from them so cannot help. If no one else here can why not hop onto Mumsnet on their Style and Beauty forum. Bound to be someone there who knows that line.

LucyAnna5 Tue 30-Jun-26 20:24:01

I saw this jumpsuit in an ad for Kit and Kaboodal and am tempted to order it. But it says ‘fits 8-18’, and having never bought anything from them, I wonder what the size would be like. I’m a 12, sometimes 14 in clothes.
