Did anyone see the documentary on that French guy who walked between the two WTCs on a tight rope? I watched between my fingers.
He teased the police by lying back on the rope.
Later they made a film about it.

Scary enough going up on lift and being at top looking down! It was even scarier up The Twin Towers. You could only go up one of them can't remember which one now. These 2 people are lunatics!!!!!

They have a movie/documentary on Netflix. That's what they do. They're daredevils. I think they just did it for the heck of it and he wanted to propose. There's nothing more to it. That's what they do for a living.

Of course there are risks but it's comparable with Everest and plenty have died on the mountain ( and not just tourists).

Ah, I think I've seen them on youtube, before.
They climb the tallest, most dangerous buildings, freestyle.
Just using their hands and feet to pull themselves up.

There have a been a few deaths, too.

They are Russian nationals and have performed many similar stunts before. Seems odd that both were wearing black face masks. A safety helmet might have been more appropriate!

I am terrified just thinking about this let alone watching it. I imagine some people’s brains must be wired up differently when it comes to heights.
I literally can’t go up a ladder without my knees turning to water.

I've been up to the observation deck and like anywhere where heights are involved it induced quite a wobbly sensation. The very famous photograph taken around the 1930s, workmen eating their lunch sitting on a scaffolding plank that projects out from a sky high building with their legs dangling mid air has the same palpitations effect as does anyone taking a daft selfie clinging to a rock with a sheer drop below.

As others have observed it's not only their getting up that spire it's the coming down too.
