do you still buy BBC radio times?

Just seen a hard copy of a radio times for my neck of the woods,and its a Welsh/West version and it does not include any BBC local radio schedules,could I ask if your outside the West country if you getting an England version or a regional copy for your area?

Still have a subscription - just! I get the last copy of my 6 month sub next week. I got the last one for a very low price - can't remember what it was but certainly a bargain. I shall do after next week what I always do - wait until a good offer appears by email.

Just purchased the Welsh version of the Radio times w/c 1st August there is no BBC radio wales schedules in the copy, they have accidentaly put in the local BBC radio stations for England. When they sold their soul (the BBC) to an out sourced company this is what we end up with.Cancel your subscriptions as the magazine just ain't worth it any more.

If you have a subscription it's £52 twice a year, so £2 a copy. Well worth it because there is so much inside.

It's my treat to buy it when it comes out on a Tuesday and then to read it through on a Friday evening. I still love to read books and magazines in my hands. Also to keep a calendar and house diary in written form. I love technology and all the benefits but still have a yen for words in a physical way.

Like many others, i buy it at Christmas only. I usually get the double edition. It's part of the season for me and helps to build the excitement

Yes I have a subscription and love it. The radio guide is worth it alone. Detail of drama and documentaries and reviews you never get online. Much easier to navigate also.I love the radio and is the main reason I buy it as well as the puzzles and letters page.

Agree, it has dozens of channels, plus radio stations, articles, letters. There is so much. I think they have about 8 pages of TV channels every day! I don't know how they find all that information.

We just buy a paper on Saturday. Well as interesting articles, sports news etc it's got all the tv info as well as good puzzles. Keeps us both happy!

I read the radio times online lol I already have too much clutter, I don't want more.

We considered it unnecessary expense when our children were small and only ever bought the Christmas edition. My DD still buys the Christmas edition edition and we mark of all the programs we want to watch and then throw it away 🤣.

I have a subscription but as a result of disruptions to the post delivery is erratic. Last week I didn’t get a copy so thought my subscription had ended so bought one. On the same day two were delivered, one out of date and one a copy of the one I’d just bought. I offered one of the duplicates free to my neighbours on our WhatsApp group. No one was interested. A sign of the times.

Not Radio Times but do get TV Choice as hubby likes to browse what he's going to watch.

I did until a few years ago when the price jumped and I cancelled it. I can't say we've missed it.

I get the Radio Times on subscription, paid for with my Tesco Clubcard points. I used to get Gardeners World too until they changed the value of the points.

We buy the Radio Times on subscription. It works out much cheaper. It is still the best overall guide to TV and radio programmes. The newspaper guides are very poor for radio information.

No. We haven't bought the Radio Times for years. We buy the Daily Mail on a Saturday purely for the television supplement. I don't think either of us actually reads the newspaper.
