My OH has spent too much money

How long should I play on his guilt?

Could you edge the lawn - “ of course, I will do it now ( took 3 hours)

Can you go to the post office - yes I will do it on the way to work

Can you cook (favourite dish) tonight - yes of course

What else can I get him to do? Think painting the bedroom might be pushing it, but it’s fun

Not understanding this?? Are you “punishing” your OH as you feel he/she’s spent too much joint money??

It’s light hearted - he has bought some thing I think is unnecessary but after 55 years of marriage we are not going to fall out, but if he wants to feel guilty then I am going to take advantage for a few days

My OH buys Lotsof things I think aren,t necessary but it’s up to him what he spends the money he worked his socks off for for over 50 years.
Making anyone feel guilty is a big no in my book ! That’s just not nice.
